First visit. One of us ordered a chicken quesadilla and couldn't handle it. There was no charge and she was allowed to order something else. Another ordered meatloaf (the daily special) and enjoyed it. I had fried okra, greens, and fried squash. The greens were excellent, the other was very good. Didn't much care for the squash.
We have now visited Southern Spice twice. We have enjoyed everything that we have eaten.
The customer service is outstanding, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice.

The food was really good. I got the chicken fried steak & gravy with green beans and fried okra. Over all the food was really good. My only complaint was that the green beans didn't have much flavor despite having some bits of bacon cooked with them. I don't normally add salt to my food, but I had to add quite a bit to get some flavor from the beans. The service was great so I still highly recommend this restaurant.
