Tried this restaurant for the first time today and it was a very friendly family oriented restaurant. The food was delicious. If you are looking for a place to have a good home cooked meal. Look no further grandma hoyts is the place to come.
The folks working were very friendly. But the food was way too salty and certainly wasn’t fresh. I couldn’t cut through the layer of cheese on top of the macaroni and the meatloaf was just tough and burnt ends. Also the buffet is very confusing. Did not know where the line was supposed to start or end. We are not from here so most likely will not be coming back. But wish our experience could’ve been better! Not worth the price in my opinion.
I got the country style steak, mash potatoes and grave, fried okra, pintos, a roll and cookie and sweat tea for about 15 dollars. Never have ate here before but will be returning the food is excellent. It's grandma tasting county food for sure!! Oh and I could only eat about half so it will feed ya twice lol
