I love this place… Visited last year and had breakfast here twice. Such fond memories of the food the service and the charming atmosphere. Does anybody know if they are OK after the hurricane?

Best place for breakfast hands down. I love the Black Mtn. Bennie. Biscuit, Country ham, poached egg and hollandaise. What else could you ask for. Oh yeah, served with asparagus. Incredible!!!!

Delicious, large biscuit breakfasts. Lots of variety in proteins and flavors.
We went on a Saturday morning at the tail end of summer, and there was no line or wait to get in - very lucky and thankful for that.
Decor is fun as well

Great portion for the prices(these days). The biscuits and gravy both sausage and skitake were right on. NO doctoring needed! Fried green tomatoes were ok but nothing special-kinda plain. Great staff that didn't have "Asheville Attitude"

Got the cheese, bacon, egg biscuit, partner got the Grey Beard. Biscuits were fabulous, a little crunch on the outside, fluffy on the inside, bacon was cooked as requested, definitely worth stopping here. We also tried their homemade peach and blueberry jams, both great. Couldn't leave without trying a cinnamon roll and the cream cheese topping and doughy texture were so good. I'm not even a breakfast person and this place is worth recommending.

Wow, amazing food for very fair prices. I ordered the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich and a coffee for under $10. The sandwich was huge and so flavorful and fresh. The biscuit was so soft and fresh. Coffee was good! Definitely recommend this spot for some great breakfast food and fair prices!

You order your delicious food at the counter. The prices are very reasonable. Coffee iced tea and water are serve yourself. If you want orange juice or anything else like that you can get it at the counter. The staff is very friendly. If you plan on going on a Saturday or Sunday go early as I can get crowded and there will be a wait. But it is worth it.

As always fresh delicious and served perfectly. Thanks for a great breakfast !!
Have been twice in two weeks…first time I had to convince my husband to come in because it’s in this tiny plaza and so unassuming he wasn’t quite sure haha! I can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for years and it took the recommendation of a friend IN ATLANTA for me to get up and check it out! Now I’m hooked! It’s homey and country and has Biscuit Head on Biltmore Ave vibes. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick with our orders. We did go both times at weekday breakfast times. A lot of families in with their kids-there’s a cute kid corner with books and toys. Plenty of veggie options and substitutions. Their fried green tomatoes and grit cakes are so yummy! The serving sizes are hearty and we even packed some leftovers each time. The waffle was thick and fluffy with plenty of syrup. The biscuits are big and fluffy-I’m not sure if one could call them cathead size but pretty close. I got a biscuit with shiitake gravy and so filling! A great local hotspot!
Vegetarian options: Shiitake gravy, veggie sausage option, greens and other veggies on the plates, non-dairy milk options for coffee, lattes, chai and teas. Definitely more lacto-vegetarian options, vegan restricted.
