I love this place. These are the best doughnuts I’ve ever had and vegan as well. They’re delicious and I’m in love. Thank you dough nut gods for blessing the sweet people of dough house for making the sweetest doughnuts. Now I will go and continue to eat the rest of these with the lack of self control I have.
Dough House is truly a hidden gem in Black Mountain NC. My partner and I are both Celiacs so finding GF donuts is a struggle. We came here a year ago and enjoyed the best gluten free donuts we’ve ever had. This past weekend we came back for more and due to complications from Hurricane Helene they’ve had to re-work their gluten free donut options & had to temporarily take them off of their menu. When they heard that we came from Carrboro, they gave us complimentary gf donuts...
Asheville already has a good donut shop with vegan options, but this one is worth the drive! Made to order and lots of unique flavors! Great taste and texture (yeasted donuts only, not cake as far as I'm aware). They even had some gluten free options (which I didn't try).
Oh, the weird garlic butter donut is totally worth trying (even for someone who loves the sweet sweet donuts)!
