Excellent pizza!! Strong recommendation for the veggie pizza. It was a perfect crust and tangy sauce. Yum.

As a long-time bread and pizza maker at home, I picked this restaurant based on pictures of the pizza crust—beautiful open crumb that looked like it would be crisp and chewy without being dense. I was not disappointed! Excellent pizza. Tuscan salad was the perfect complement. Loved watching the pizza being made, too.

Great food, fun atmosphere and convenient location!loved the merch, too! My bruschetta was fresh and even better the next day when the garlic really came out. My baked pasta had delicious chunks of tomato and my balsamic vinegar dressing was so flavorful that I ate the whole salad.

We had high hopes for a great meal but it did not live up to the reviews. The server was nice but a little careless and not attentive. The Fun Guy pizza was good but not great so can’t be 4 stars. The salad was great and the creamy dressing a nice change from balsamic. Finally, the eggplant parm was not good at all. The sauce was very sweet and tasted worse than a cheap jar from the supermarket. To make matters worse the bread was slightly burned. We also tried the white bean and sausage soup, it tasted fine but again - 3 stars at best.

If you like feta and olives then order the Greek Platter. It's huge , fresh, and loaded with flavors. Makes a great starter for their Baby Blue white pizza baked in a REAL wood fired oven.Parking: Rock star parking for the whole band.

Place was busy. It's a small family establishment with little indoor seating so makes it feel intimate Ans like you are eating with your family. Quick service. There is outdoor seating but it was misty and cold so the wait was longer than anticipated. Food was good and had great flavor. They were accommodating and friendly. The kids enjoyed coloring with a cup full of crayons they provided.

I'm always hesitant to get pizza from places other than WNY, but this place was pretty good! They had a variety of interesting pizzas... Not boring pepperoni, mushroom, etc. We went on a Sunday night and had about a 20 minute wait. Unfortunately there really isn't anywhere to wait inside, so you have to wait on the patio or in your car. It was cold and rather windy, so we waited in the car to receive the call our table was ready. When we were seated the waitress was over fairly quickly to take our drink and food order. We ordered the Bayou pizza and Alaskan pizza. We were seated right by the wood stove so we got to watch the cooks toss the dough and put the pizzas in. The Bayou had shrimp, clams, Cajun seasoning and a cream sauce. It was good but a little salty for my taste... Not salty enough to stop me from eating two pieces though. The Alaskan pizza has red onions and a big piece of smoked salmon on each slice. Definitely a good choice for some different pizzas.

Side salad prices are shocking, as in the same price as entrees.

This is a fantastic side street venue in Black Mountain NC. We stayed in Black Mountain in a fantastic Air B&B just down from this wonderful institute of flavor exploration. Honestly I wish we had this location in Alpharetta... it was some of the best pizza I have had since leaving Chicago. The staff were delightful! We came with a full crew... 8 of us 4 kids and 4 adults and we were kind of all over the place. I mean literally the kids had a hard time sitting still. However that did not phase the staff.. she was pleasant, helpful with our selections, and patient beyond belief. Many of us got a selection of pizza.. heavenly pizza... pizza to savor and enjoy as it erupted in fantastic artist flavors! This could only have been imagined by an amazing master artist... one that works in the medium of food... molding it and crafting each pizza in to a masterpiece of perfection. The crust was a canvas of crunchy and doughy at the same time, the sauce was not sweet but was masterfully filled with herbs and a touch of spice mixed as only a true artist can, the topping were applied generously like a skilled painter that is not afraid to put it on thick and the cheese was a blend of joy and love magically manipulated to form the glue that brought every thing together. The flavors were outstanding! This is a place I would drive an hour out of the way to go to! Put this in your book, on your list, in your mind... you need to try this pizza! There is an outside area and an inside area but know this... it gets busy! Get here early and then take your time... every bite should be pains takingly enjoyed.
