I do not know what culinary sorcery they have used for their pancakes with vanilla bean syrup but l am here for it. Those are the best pancakes I have had in my 50 years of life. The sausage patties, the biscuits and gravy, the holiday mimosas, and the service was unbelievable. Everyone was so friendly and you can tell they all work as a team. We will be back again....and again...and again. :)
This is my favorite place to eat in Black Mountain. The young man who took our order was a delight. The outdoor patio is wonderful and the food…fresh and delicious!!!
We were looking for local breakfast spots on our roadtrip home from family vacation and came across Louise’s Kitchen. This place was darling! The staff were very nice and the food was incredible. We hope to come back here!
Best biscuits and gravy - nice staff, homey atmosphere. Would love to go back again. There’s a Starbucks right nearby, too, so we brought our own coffee.
My husband and I stopped by on Memorial Day. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. Everyone we came into contact with was very gracious and helpful. We both ordered the pimento cheese sandwich with tomato soup and chips- fantastic😋 We also grabbed a giant cookie to go. Bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend you try this restaurant.
Loved the stone ground grits with Rosemary! Nice relaxing meal and atmosphere!
This is the best breakfast spot in Black mtn the experience is always great, were lived here forever and this is my go to, great service and food, there vanilla bean syrup on pancakes is to die for, beware the lines get long though so plan accordingly expecially on Saturday mornings after 10am and the outdoor seating is great!
Every time we visit Black Mountain, we eat either breakfast or lunch here. We love this little house with huge flavors in all menu options. Nice days you can sit on the porch or a table inside. There may be a little wait on weekends but it’s worth the wait!!
A cool, unique place for fresh-made food just a couple of steps away from Cherry Street, the Black Mountain street that is always overrun with tourists. There's something for everyone here, and if the prices are a bit high for the portions you get, that's compensated for by the fact that everything is very tasty.

You will love this quaint restaurant. Located in a beautiful historic home. First you order at the front and pay. I recommend anything off the breakfast menu. Then you are seated. The staff is warm and friendly, super accommodating. The food was homemade with local ingredients. Definitely recommend!
Dietary restrictions: They did have gluten-free options available like toast.

Louise's is always great. They were able to fit a large group (9 of us) outside which was a little surprising and super awesome. The servers were pretty nice, although one lady did interject when we were praying for our meal, but otherwise the staff were very friendly and helpful. The line is always pretty long, but the food is definitely worth the wait.
Parking: There isn't a ton of parking (like everywhere in black mountain) but there are several free public parking lots within an easy walk.
