My Father's Pizza & Pasta

Hairy Food!
Well... it hurts me to have to edit my review.
March 7th of 2025, my wife, brother in law, and his wife went out for our birthday celebration.
I have visited My Father's regularly over the years. We grew up in the valley and live close by now.
My pizza was good but had a hair in my first piece. I politely asked my waitress for another plate. I didn't make a big deal of it, thinking 🤔, ok, she'll make it right with me. Nope, she didn't even offer.
Is hair in your pizza just acceptable now?
I've known the owner for years. I have to say, I'm disappointed 😞.
We may not be back for a while.
I really hope they read these reviews. It's important to their reputation.

It would've been 5 ⭐ all the way across the board but their prices are way different then what it says online. Still a great pizza though

Take out. The My Father’s Supreme Pizza is a far cry from when Larry had the place. It was always delicious, loaded with toppings. Now the crust is thin, hardly any toppings. Had to cut it, or re cut it ourselves. Not worth the price!

Super fun(free to play) foosball table to play as you wait for your seating. Food was delicious and our waitress was super kind and welcoming although our food was a little delayed getting out. But otherwise visit was very lovely. I would suggest getting the BBQ chicken pizza, it is delicious. The waitress finds her costumers wonderful

Hands down my worst experience so far at MFP&P. We've been going here for years and have loved it, but not today. Honestly the large pizza we ordered more resembled a frozen one, I think it was a frozen crust. Very little cheese or other ingredients. Then to cap it off $5 was added from the price quoted over the phone. I know there's been trouble in the business because of the storm, but why not charge for what you're actually getting and not for what its supposed to be.

They never never disappoint. The food is always delicious. Steak sub is my personal favorite and the lasagna is better then my own. The service is always outstanding.

Busy weekend so ate at the bar. The Skinnny Pig was the pizza bomb with local draft. Always good food and friendly folks.

We love to stop and get lunch or dinner when we stop in black mountain. The pastas are so good. It’s nice to sit out when it’s a beautiful day.

Food was excellent, and Cooper is the best bartender east of the Mississippi! Will be back to have another delicious pizza and to hang with Cooper!
