I tried to order a kung pao chicken extra spicy without any of the vegetables except all I wanted was mushrooms. The girl who answered the phone said no they can’t do that and I could only get extra mushrooms 🤣 I got 8 thin slices of chicken 2 mm thick (and nothing was spicy even though I asked extra spicy), and the worst fried rice of my life as a side. Mostly what you will get is a ton of broccoli and carrots with a side of dry yellow rice.

Portions are horrendous. I was born and raised in black mountain and have always ate here. The food has changed over time which you can expect but definitely not in a good way. I would say try another Chinese restaurant but they are far and few between in our area.

The lo mien was ok. Very little chicken. Mainly taste of soy sauce. Not likely to be a repeat customer.

The quality of the cuisine is generally satisfactory. The staff demonstrates a high level of affability and the service is expeditious. Typically, food preparation time does not exceed fifteen minutes.

Strange fried rice. Nothing except orange colored rice. I had to fix it at home with egg. Scallions, soy sauce. Sesame chicken and steamed dumpling

We have been getting take out from here for 20 years and it’s always fast, fresh and flavorful. They have friendly service and quick to answer the phone. We had the cashew nut chicken tonight and shrimp with mixed vegetables. All was cooked perfectly !

This is the freshest Chinese food I've ever had. I bought takeout twice from here and both times it was fresh and hot like it just came off the grill. It's so delicious and affordable. Check this place out for a to go date night or easy meal if you don't feel like cooking! Absolutely worth it!

A darling family serving delicious food! I've been eating at this establishment for nearly 30 years. They always deliver! I've never had them make a mistake with my order and the food has remained consistently enjoyable. They do great things with tofu! And I can't place an order without getting egg rolls or crab rangoons.Decent prices and servings. Plenty of parking. Smiling faces at the counter.

It was the worst meal. The food was terrible. I won’t be going back. I would rate this place a Big Fat F . This one was in Black Mountain NC.
Decent quality food but why do you guys add so much breading? Is it to use less meat to save money? I'd rather just have the smaller portion without the excess fried breading

The “fried rice” was rice & sauce, the chicken was very heavily breaded and under cooked/doughy, and the smallest egg roll I ever had. When I pas through Black Mountain again I won’t be passing through this restaurant!

#1 is the best Chinese take-out in Western NC. I go once per week. The service is excellent, and priced right.
