Old School Subs in Black Mountain is a regular spot for me, and it never disappoints. I’ve tried several different sandwiches on their menu, and every single one has been a 10/10. The quality and flavor are always on point. The staff work incredibly hard and are always so kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I always look forward to my meal here and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great sandwich.

We Went in for dinning out dinner and the service was amazing. Nice clean atmosphere and no long wait. Get home to the food still very fresh and so good!! 10/10 recommend 🤤😊

one star is too many. it took over 35 minutes for a cuban sandwich that had old pork and tasted like cardboard....cold and greasy. I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again...one bite and I threw the sandwich away...besides wasting my lunch hour on sitting and waiting for something that was a waste of money....got it? don't bother, it's better down the street...

I have only had a sandwich from Old School a couple times, years ago when I worked nearby in Sweeten Creek. Always remembered it being great. I caught a glimpse of their sign in Black Mountain today on the way to a job site and was pumped to swing in and grab a six inch. I ended up getting the full Sammy which was the best decision I’ve made all week. I would’ve been pissed that I didn’t have more. Everything about it. I’ve used too many words already…. Will be back over and over again. Officially My favorite sando spot in our area. (Still got love for silverball but Old Scool Subs is the one). Great price and exactly what I was looking for . The potato salad was excellent as well, it was a last minute decision to try it instead of VooDoo Zapps. I’ve worked in BBQ and made potato salad daily for a decade so it’s not something I eat, theirs is bomb. Thanks guys! Glad to stumble across this location.

Old School Subs is a great place to grab lunch! It was quick, tasty, and cheap 🥪. They make their bread and sides fresh. As well as their desserts which consist of chocolate chip cookies 🍪 which hit the spot after a savory sandwich. They offer cream sodas and chips as well. The service was super friendly and quick. The best sandwich shop in Black Mountain 🏔️

OMG I ordered a Chicken Philly and it was so delicious best sub I have ever had!!! I got a 6inch which had plenty of chicken in it and chips and a drink for a little over $12 which isn't bad!!! I highly recommend this place!!! ❤️
