What an awesome find! The food was delicious, the wine list was awesome, not your typical boring wine list, this one is well thought out, with unique bottles for those who are into wine. (Nice job Heather!) Food was proper British fare and the service was personal, welcoming and sincere. Highly recommend!

We visited last week and being British myself was a little skeptical naturally. We ordered fish and chips and bangers and mash, both were delicious and exceeded my expectations. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the chef is British so you know you're getting authentic British food.

I had the fish and chips maybe the British make them different than the Irish but they were okay. Fresh cut fries would be a nice upgrade on this dish. Beer choices: yum

Nice little pub in an upscale neighborhood. My burger was cooked perfectly if not a tad salty. Chips (fries) were served hot and with malt vinegar as it should be. Sweet tea was disappointing. They gladly replaced it with a soft drink. Service was friendly but slow.

This was an amazing treasure to find! The owner came to speak to our table the first time we visited and remembered my name when I came back two weeks later. The food is simply FANTASTIC! I have samples several things from the menu and everything was more than I could have hoped. The space is cozy while still having ample natural light. I've recommended this place to everyone I can!

Lovely place, through and through! From our initial greeting with Heather, to the very end of dessert and last sip of ale. I truly value the effort and thought they have devoted to bringing Cheshire Arms to us here in WNC. Wonderful staff and everything from Shepherd pie, Fish n Chips, London Pride...on and on. I suggest a visit to anyone who will hear me.

I had the veal stew and my daughter had the fish and chips. Everything was divine! We also had the trout mousse as an appetizer and pumpernickel bread.

I think this may be the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and I ate every bite of the stew. Tons of gravy and delicious flavor!
