Dripolator Black Mountain

Cute little coffee shop in a quaint little town. Neither of us are coffee drinkers but popped in to grab some hot cocoa on a chilly day. Husband got regular hot cocoa but I got the holiday special of a Smores hot cocoa and it was delish. Very friendly staff.

Just stopped in after being away for a while and was so incredibly sadly disappointed that you no longer have French Broad chocolate available for your mochas. 😞 I used to tell everyone that you had the best mochas in the state (No exaggeration!!). Ghirardelli is so common, way too sweet, and just meh. Love the Drip vibe! Please bring it back.

Been coming to the Dripolator in Black Mountain for 10 years. I’m in the shop many times each week and the friendly service and talented baristas make it a great cafe. They know what I like and can make great suggestions for you. Coffee is excellent- my favorite in western NC - and I’ve had a lot of coffee all over WNC. We’ve been to the other three locations and all have their unique feel and all have the same great coffee. While BMT will always be my favorite location, I really like the Gerber vibe as well. The BMT shop has been there 25 years for a reason.

The coffee was super tasty, and the customers gave the shop an extra chill vibe. It wasn't too busy when I went, but I know it can get really packed. You have to walk up a couple of steps to get in so it's not really wheelchair friendly. It's also a pretty small coffee shop without a ton of extra room, but it's super cozy and fun.

I like their Pumpkin spice latte and the killer bee.

Shout out to Dripolator for thinking and caring about their employees at the Candler location 💯. Road conditions are rapidly deteriorating and their employees can stay home and stay safe 💕

My favorite coffee shop in black mountain! My partner loves the barista’s choice and I always get a carmelatto or the goodness greens smoothie. I rarely order smoothies out, but this tastes amazing and better than what I make at home. They also have tons of delicious snacks available.

Drinks are delicious. I had the Violet Beoregard, very good. They have amazing chocolates, bagels, yogurt, etc. Definitely recommend

Their Cubano is delicious, mouthwatering delicacy. Overall good coffee selection and cozy little space to hang. Too bad the pastry selection is below average.

Just had a great experience at the Dripolator, I have waited such a long time to finally visit again and the Barista taking my order was so nice and very accommodating to my request. Coffee was amazing, and goes so great with the French Broad chocolate!
