Absolutely amazing food and service! We came in and didn’t have reservations (sorry) and they accommodated us super well and had us sit at the bar- Cassie and Rachel were absolutely amazing and had perfect recommendations. Started off with the mussels and they were insane. So so so good. We got the flank steaks and the pork chop which were also to die for. Ended things off with the chocolate torte which we devoured in about 3 seconds.This place is a must if you’re in the area! Thanks yall it was amazing

BEST bread ever!! The focaccia is a must. Black mountain is the cutest quaint town in the area and this food blew us away. The menu is seasonal so we’ll definitely be back!

The is the second time we've been here. The first was for a late lunch. Excellent fried chicken and burger sandwiches. The second was for dinner. Very carefully curated menu. The Bread Service is a must - really good. The pork belly was delicious, as was the Flat Iron steak. We'll definitely be back with friends and to try their other main dishes. On both occasions the service was friendly and very efficient. A lovely and special Black Mountain restaurant.

Went for lunch today. I was met with a very nice hostess and was seated in the back. The restaurant was not very busy. I waited for 5 minutes as several waitresses walked by without a even asking me if I wanted a drink of water. I left and went down the street.
There were 4 of us. 2 with severe food allergies. We reviewed the menu before making our reservation. Apparently the menu had changed somewhat before our arrival. The servers were not familiar with what was in the food and the menu did not provide a complete breakdown. The crispy chicken was very spice. The steak was undercooked and was sent back. The server did not know if soy oil was used in preparation. The creme brulee was cold and runny. A big disappointment.
