We came in from out of town to relax and have a drink. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered a martini. We didn’t know that you weren’t able to have alcohol outside (although someone at another table had a martini as well). We had our dogs with us and we apologized profusely when the bar manager Victoria came outside and mentioned it. As we were gathering our things, we could hear her inside talking about how she’s tired of this “sh*t”...
Wonderful corner bar. Low key, excellent service and solid variety of beer, wine and drinks. Often has live music from local talents. I live in Black Mountain and am happy to have The Station as a go-to.
July 2024. Marjie and I came into town for a drink. All the usual spots were packed. When we came across The Station there was live music, room at the bar, variety of beers and other , and cooling cross breeze. Marjie enjoyed the White Squirrel drink in honor of Z & L’s neighborhood mascot. Then we finished the evening driving around looking for a place to watch fireworks. There were thousands of people filling every parking lot lot like it was football tailgating night....
