I would strongly recommend Cafe Violette for an upscale dinner in Blowing Rock. We found the food, service and atmosphere to all be excellent and definitely worth the prices. The autumn salad and vegetarian entree (the cacio e pepe) were both fantastic and likely the best vegetarian food you can get in Blowing Rock. We will definitely be back!

I had been here before a few years ago, and I made sure I didn't miss an opportunity to eat there again on my recent visit. We split the mussels and frites, a salad, and a dessert,and everything was fabulous! I highly recommend. I can't wait to come back to Blowing Rock to eat here again!! Wish I could post pictures.

Celebrated an anniversary and successful surgery recovery here with a dinner (me, my husband and my mother). Everything we had was amazing - we all ordered something different for entrees and tried each other's meals. Kebab appetizer was perfectly spiced. Chicken meuniere was one of the best chicken meals I have ever had. The cacio and pepe and hands down stellar - the best cacio and pepe I have had (though I haven't had many, but I will be changing that going forward)....
