I almost hate to post this review because I want it kept quiet from other bumbling tourists but...it was perfect.

Place was absolutely amazing!! My wife and I enjoyed every second. Very cozy lounge areas. Also being an avid hunter I eat a lot of venison. Their venison was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. We have planned to come back and stay a few nights.Could I a suggest getting a N/A beer on the list.

We were welcomed with a smile and a complimentary cocktail/ beer. We stayed in the Old Orchard room. Lovely view of the mountains. Had a private porch. Awesome walkthrough closet/ pantry area with a wine fridge stocked with waters, sodas. The soaker tub in this room was AMAZING. Large enough for 2 ppl if you are planning a romantic weekend. Also had an adjacent shower and double sinks. Gas fireplace. Rooms are outfitted with smart TVs. Plenty of GOOD coffee at breakfast. Breakfast is cooked to order. We also had dinner here. See my separate review. We really enjoyed everything about this Inn. Thanks for a memorable stay. Looking forward to the next time!

My husband and I had an amazing time at Gideon Ridge. The Executive chef accommodated my very restricted diet and created the most delicious meal of scallops and vegetables that I have ever had in my entire life. The ambience, excellent service, and exceptional food make this a unique and exquisite experience.

Had a wonderful dinner this evening. After a few apps and the farmers salad along with the Brussel sprouts we finished with the duck and halibut. Everything was absolutely perfect and the service was top shelf. Obviously management has taken the time to properly train the staff because they were very knowledgeable and so helpful. Shout out to Jeremy, great job.

Peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, next level service, wonderful restaurant, and some of the best long range mountain views on the east coast. If you need to unwind, reflect, and get unattached for a bit, this is your place. At least it does all these things and more for me. I would not be making to many plans because, they will surely change after you get here.

I've been here twice. Last year, I really enjoyed it and would have given it 5 stars. We went back this year for our 30th anniversary in August and we were so disappointed. The biggest reason was that we were rushed through the entire dinner. They were definitely aware it was our anniversary. We ordered cocktails and appetizers to start. It took a long time to get our cocktails but the appetizers came out in 5 minutes. So we sat and waited until our cocktails arrived. They finally did but our main courses came out when we were just finishing our appetizer. For our dessert, we asked them to slow down so we could have time to enjoy the view. Even with that, we were done in less than an hour. I understand that at some restaurants you need to pace out how you order to ensure better timing. I would never have thought that of Gideon's Ridge. Btw, it was not crowded and there were lots of open tables. I was really looking forward to our dinner. The food was good but didn't make up for the service.
