We enjoyed a great one-night stay at Gideon Ridge on August 9–10. We have been staying in Asheville for a few days before and I had always wanted to come up to see the Blowing Rock/Boone area. The location was incredible and the mountain views are stunning.

Gideon Ridge is the best restaurant I've yet been to in all my travels. Spent my 1st and 3rd anniversary and have been there many times otherwise to eat. The atmosphere, the service and the staff are all top tier and the food is always on another planet from anything else.

The Gideon Ridge Inn offers an exceptional dining experience, featuring outstanding views, extraordinary service, and delicious food. The beautiful setting includes incredible views and a wood-burning fire in the living room, adding to a warm and inviting environment. Service at the restaurant is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff committed to making each visit memorable.
Eating here is a delightful experience with the best view and delicious food. The duck is seasoned and cooked to perfection and the short rib is also scrumptious. The restaurant itself is beautiful in the 1930s hunting lodge style with an incredible location and views that stretch to the distant horizon. Guests recommend arriving early to enjoy a cocktail and the views. The food is very good and the ambiance is great and comfortable. Be sure to book a reservation long in advance. Gideon Ridge Inn is a memorable dining destination that visitors to Blowing Rock should not miss.
