The service is attentive, friendly and professional. Aman is the best. He remembers us and makes us feel special plus he makes the most delicious drink - Mango Mojito. Atmosphere is nice, and to top it all off it’s a great value.“

“Booneshine is a classic go-to hangout spot in Boone that my wife and I visit every time we are in town. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Parking can be competitive at times, but people come and go so you usually can get lucky with a spot. Definitely add this to your Boone rotation.“

“I have always loved Melanie’s. When I was in college it was a special treat. Since moving away after college, it’s a restaurant I try to make sure to visit when we are in town as often as I can. My daughter has multiple food allergies and so eating out can be tricky. Breakfast places can be especially challenging for her. I emailed Melanie’s this week because we were going to be in town for breakfast Saturday and I REALLY wanted to share my favorite breakfast place with her. I got a very fast response, that was clearly knowledgeable about food allergies and helped us with our decision. She got to have Melanie’s for the first time this weekend, it was safe and it was magical for the whole family. They did a beautiful job. My heart and tummy are full.“

“We love Boone bagelry. I come specifically for their iced vanilla chai, but the bagels and cream cheese are phenomenal. This time, the wait was a little obscure. The place looked moderately busy, but the hostess said we could be seated, but the food would take a while because the kitchen was backed up. We chose to sit and wait. Our food probably took about 20 minutes, but I think we got lucky. While we were waiting we saw two other parties choose to pay for their drinks and get breakfast elsewhere. Nonetheless our food was great. I’d still come back, I think they were having an off day, but I definitely would have comped the drinks of those parties who waited for too long. I am sure that left a bad taste in their mouth.“
