They were pretty busy so we did to go orders on our phones. They made everyone's food but missed mine. Not a big deal though because they instantly put it to the front of the line. Food wasn't bad, I thought the portions were decent and it tasted good. Just not sure if it was good enough for the price tag.
We have been at Melanie’s several times while visiting Boone! This visit we had about a 45 minute wait for brunch and realized after 30 mins that others coming after us were being seated outside when it had not been offered to us which was disappointing. Our server was attentive and the food was pretty good. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. The house made veggie burger was one of the best I’ve had. Great food! The burger I had was fantastic and my wife’s biscuits and gravy looked amazing. You get a good amount of food and I love how local so much of the menu is. We came in right at noon and had no wait to sit down! Great eating in downtown Boone.
