you won’t find a space that makes you feel more wanted, welcomed, safe, and loved. Worth going back to my college town, 100%, every time. As a queer POC, I have never ever ever felt uncomfortable or out of place once. VEGANS COME HERE!!! I’m currently in Bali but thinking of Lilys!! That’s how good it is. I don’t even live in Boone anymore but when I visit it is still just as magical. The drinks, the vegan food, the music, the familial staff, it’s just the best there is. I’ve loved playing music there, listening to music there, dancing there… bringing my pup there…eating brunch there… and even doing my remote work there! Probably a million more things too. i don’t even go to this bar like that but i doordashed me a burger. and i told the line cooks i loved them bc it was rlly late at night and i felt bad. and these beautiful people wrote on the box that they love me too and it made my whole night and the food was so gas.
