I love The Local! The bartenders are the best. And the food is way better than average ol' bar food. Whether it's a cheeseburger and truffle fries or soup, surf or turf, their food is top restaurant quality. And my vegetarian friends loved the selections for them as well!
We had the BEST experience at The Local tonight. The food was fantastic but what really made it special was Morgan, our server. She was warm and energetic and attentive to our needs. You could tell she really loves what she does which made the experience that much better. Thanks Morgan!!

Came into Boone for dinner after hiking. We decided to eat here at The Local. Had Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer, which was pretty good, and the Steak and Frites, it was pretty good also. Waitress was awesome, very attentive! Great atmosphere. Would recommend!
