I go to school at Appalachian State University, my parents live a considerable distance away from me, so when they traveled up here for my dad's birthday, we wanted to go to a really nice restaurant. Needless to say Twigs exceeded expectations. While somewhat pricey, the quality of food you get matches the hefty price tag. Last weekend was truly amazing for me and my boyfriend! We were finally able to break away for a much needed date night and it was such a blast. We had the pleasure of meeting some of the friendliest people, and one person in particular (I cannot remember her name, but she was a young woman with brown hair who was wearing two necklaces.) left a lasting impression on us. also, I cannot forget the amazing manager who took care of us and provided excellent service! My husband and I stopped in for dinner after a long day of work. Our favorite place in Blowing Rock closed down so we wanted to try something new. We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess was friendly and got us a table. We were a bit under dressed since we work in construction but we were treated with great service despite that. Burlene was our server and she was excellent. Food was hot and delicious, beer was cold, and dessert was wonderful. We would definitely come again
