We were up in the mountains on a misty day, and needed lunch as we headed back to Charlotte. A lot of places were busy, even for late lunch, but we were intrigued and then glad we stopped. I had the Farmer’s lunch with a delicious buffalo chicken soup, cheddar cheese, fresh green salad, and bread. The kids liked their chicken, but also stealing my cheese and bread. Jeff served us at the bar top. He was easy to talk to and poured a great drink. We had the fish and chips- YUM! We had irish coffees and were just as cozy and happy as could be. Do yourself the favor and go have a delicious bite and a drink with Jeff!

Quiet afternoon had the place to myself. Good music from my era. I had the French onion soup excellent flavor and nice toppings of cheese and croutons. I skipped dinner and went for the bread pudding warm with a a drizzle of custard it was big enough to share I ended taking half home
