Authentic English pub feel, with a delicious variety of menu options. We ordered the fish and chips, along with the shepherd's pie and a few pints of Irish red ale, absolutely loved it. Staff was extremely friendly, gave great recommendations and were prompt service.
I come here every year I'm in blowing rock. Great beer selection including old speckled hen on draft. Food is good. Service is always good. Can't go wrong here for a casual pint and food.
I visited Six Pence Pub on Halloween. I am a bit handicapped and my husband and I walked a long way due to bad directions from our maps app. When we came across the pub , we decided to get out of the heat and fill our bellies. We had a delicious meal ( pot roast & the bangers and mashed.) Our server Jordy was excellent! When it came time to walk back to our hotel my feet just couldn’t do it.
