My family and I want to thank Matt & team very much for accommodating us for Thanksgiving lunch at Timberlake's. Of the many fine T-day meals we've had with you over the last decade or so, this year's experience was the best. Your switch to family-style servings, the variety and quality of all our dishes and drinks (including the reintroduction of cranberry sauce), and the warm, attentive waitstaff made this occasion perfect. Kudos to you and all involved for orchestrating such a memorable, positive event in the aftermath of the recent devastating hurricane. It was truly a spirit lifter. We look forward to next Thanksgiving at Timberlake's--and to other visits before then.

I know this review won't matter because we're locals. But we had a table reservation for 5:15pm and arrived shortly after 5. (Just note, if you miss your reservation, they still charge you) we stood around waiting until we finally procured 2 out of the 4 seats we would need at the bar around 5:50pm. We finally all got to sit a little after 6. The server took the check to the couple at our reserved table at 6:30. When they left, we were not offered our table. Our order was taken shortly before 7 and the food took forever to arrive despite the restaurant being more than half empty at this point. We were by the door that everyone was coming in/out of while it was snowing so we ate in our coats. Also, the pumpkinpie was borderline frozen,i had never eaten ot cold before and just, ew. It was just sad. No apologies or efforts made, nobody spoke to us. It was a $500 disaster and waste of time.

I’ve never had a dining experience where the environment and the food were so wholly incongruous. Timberlakes has an authentic mountain house vibe complete with fireplace fires, antique skis mounted on the walls, stone wall accents and beautiful hardwood floors. The menu choices were appropriate to a finer dining experience as were the prices, so our expectations were set.
But then the food arrived at our table, and we could tell our anticipation and wait were to be ill rewarded. The steaks were stringy, fibrous and poorly prepared. The flavor of the side salad dressing was with a single note of highly-acidic vinegar that overplayed its hand. A dinner salad that included chicken was bested by a Chick Fil A salad that the same fellow guest had eaten for lunch earlier in the day. But the cruelest moment of all came with the deserts that we were all convinced had been purchased at Costco earlier in the day.
We will not return to Timberlakes for a long time if ever. For a meal that cost several hundred dollars, it fell way short of expectations.

I had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday dinner at Timberlake Restaurant, and it was truly an outstanding experience. Our server, Natalie, went above and beyond to make the evening special for our party of four. Her service was exceptional—she was attentive, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. She kept our drinks refilled without us having to ask, even when I was distracted on the phone (sorry about that!). Natalie’s initiative and friendly demeanor really stood out and made us feel well taken care of.
To make the evening even better, there was a live guitar player providing beautiful music throughout the night. I even had the chance to talk to him about some of the songs he was playing—it was such a cool and memorable addition to the atmosphere.
The combination of great food, amazing service, and live music made this a night to remember. Thank you, Natalie, and the entire Timberlake team for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic food, service, and ambiance!

It was an amazing experience. Nice, cozy place. We sat close to fireplace and enjoyed a gorgeous view at the lake through the big bay window. Food was delightful and portions were huge. Service was top of the line. Our waitress Natalie was friendly and helpful. She helped us make food selections by giving us advice in a friendly and fun manner. Service exceeded all our expectations.

Our server Bryson was very friendly, attentive and efficient ! The NC smoked trout was delicious and my husband got the beef tenderloin. The desert drinks were definitely a favorite. The lovely ambiance really tied it all together.

Beautiful area and views for outdoor dining. Inside is also as beautiful. The food was delicious, and the staff were very nice. I specifically had the club sandwich, which was huge and delicious. Others in my party enjoyed the beer cheese soup. They even took some home.
I recommend a visit to this place.

Drove an hour to eat with friends. Pretty disappointing. Got engaged at this spot over 30 years ago so have fond memories. Everything was very slow….2.5 hours for 4 people. First drink took 30 minutes. Chicken missing from friend’s salad. Entrees average $35-$40 and crab cakes were cold and caesar was 3/10. Waiter apologized and said he was new. Mgmt has to be better. Would not go back.
