The chicken pcs was too hard to bite and swallow
Very unprofessional I called to cancel an order and was hung up on three times and didn’t get reimbursed. Was told from another rock ‘n’ roll restaurant that that is the owner and she isn’t very nice
Great electricity!
Unfortunately, first and last time we eat here. The lady behind the counter was not friendly at all. The food was just not good. Chicken hibachi: seasoning was off and didn't taste good and the chicken was small, over cooked and rubbery. The fried rice was dry and no taste. Sweet and sour chicken: incredibly over fried, hollow and crunchy. Chicken lo mein: over cooked mushy and hardly any chicken. And a side note, no soap in the restrooms...not sure how employees wash. We love to support our local restaurants and this was one we hadn't tried yet but never again.
Wish I could give negative stars. I have never experienced service so AWFUL in my life. Lady at the counter was rude from the moment we step foot in there. We had a large group and by the time they got all the food out to us, we realized we were missing a few items. The lady behind the counter was yelling at our group and at the cooks in the back. Thought we were lying about missing items and started ripping our bags from our hands and going through our food trying to prove that she had given us the items we were missing. There were at least 20 people in the restaurant between our group and a couple others. Lady acted this way in front of EVERYONE. Hibachi was awful, “steak” was the texture of rubber. One of the people in our group is gluten free and asked for hibachi with no sauce. Lady told her they couldn’t do hibachi with no sauce and said she needed to order steamed chicken. The steamed chicken is one of the items we were missing and when we told the lady that, she said “we don’t have steamed chicken”, when she literally told the person in our group that that’s what she had to order. We left the restaurant absolutely appalled.
Worse Chinese food I ever had. Can't believe they're open.
This place has really gone down hill. This used to be some of the best Chinese food around. Not anymore. The “beef” has a rubber band like texture and absolutely no taste. It does not taste like real food. The “fried rice” is just white rice dyed yellow from who knows what and tastes horrible. Again, no taste, no flavor. The “chicken” in any of the fried chicken entrees are more breading than meat. The dumplings are ok-ish and the hot and sour soup is good. I recommend you don’t waste your money. There are better places.
As plenty of others have said- horrible service. Which is saying something because they just hand you food in a styrofoam container at the checkout counter lol.
Not much they actually are being required to do and still they seem irritated to do so.
You take out from there so it’s not like they wait on you or bus tables. Still, minimal service they do provide is poor.
The lady up front who I assume is the manager or owner seems angry you’re in her restaurant at all.
Food is ok. What can you expect for a strip mall Chinese place?
Interior atmosphere is a 0. Like a Time Machine to the 1980s with plastic utensils and boxes all over.
Once development opens across from st James’ there will be a lot of competition for this place with better service.
My favorite place to eat
Food is sub par, service is abysmal, and just simply a bad place to be. Much better options around

Horrible management, do not care about their customers. Called to ask for a manager and was met with “they’re not here” and hung up on twice.

This was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. We ordered Mongolian Beef and Chicken Fried Rice. Mongolian Beef had almost no beef in it…was onions. The Chicken Fried Rice was awful. Was not edible. I don’t know what it was but it wasn’t fired rice. If you are going to order from Wok and Roll go to the Leland location…much better.

I would give zero if I could. Absolute garbage food, nasty establishment and they are notoriously rude. Go to Taste of China in Southport!
