My husband and I happened to come across Ambrosia Kafeneio today for lunch and oh my goodness we are SO happy we found this place! Very accommodating of my soybean allergy. Checked when I ordered to ensure that nothing I had would cause a reaction (just an FYI: fries are cooked in soybean oil). I wish more restaurants did this. Soy is one of the top 10 most common food allergies and very few businesses note when they use it (or bother to check). Food was excellent, would eat here again.
Very glad I happened on this place. I was craving a gyro. Very good customer service. I was greeted on entry and advised where to find the menu. I ordered a few lamb gyros and Greek fries.
The lamb was tender but had no flavor.
Fries would have been great if the Feta added was cut in half and a tad of salt added to them. The feta overpowered the fries. The baklava was good.
