I used to drive 40 minutes out of my way to give this place my business, but no more. Refusing to serve customers 20 minutes prior to close because the girl working there hurried and shut down the espresso machine so she didn’t have to make coffee is just pure laziness. ACC, you just lost a dedicated customer.

We ordered cookies through DoorDash for the first time. Appalachia Cookie Co was very quick! The cookies came very well packaged and the presentation of the cookies was super aesthetically pleasing. I’m sure the freshness from in store would’ve been a different experience, but our personal experience is that the cookies were kind of stale…even after heating. We were pretty sad. Other than that, a good experience.

My daughter and I stopped by here on a Friday night around 1015 for some delicious fresh cookies on the way home. we were told they would take around 15 to 20 minutes to bake after around 30 minutes. I started getting concerned then a few minutes later one of the workers came out and told us that they had burnt our cookies and asked if we wanted to wait an additional 20 minutes. By that time it was closing time so I told them no I would like a refund. Needless to say, we were very disappointed as several customers before us got freshly baked cookies. We are locals over 20 years and have never came here before and unfortunately, we never come here again.

Went inside after placing an order and they said it would be a few minutes. Waited around for over 20 mins while the staff played around and talked with one another and must’ve completely forgot I was there waiting for my order even though I was the only one there. After I spoke up and said something they gave me the order after waiting around for 30 minutes, very unprofessional.
