Excellent service ! Food is mixed. Artichoke ( servers recommendation) was great and sandwich was decent. But pasta ( we went for fresh pasta only) was disappointing. It may be freshly made but serving was bland. Drinks served was up to the expectation. Pricey though compared to the quality of food served.

Ordered Brussels sprouts: it was really good today’s special trout: this is kind of direction they should go in my opinion chicken Alfredo: pasta stuck together. Must have been cooked and left on the counter waiting for the rest of dishes prepared chicken over cooked New York strip steak fritte: hot mess New York strip steak sandwich: meh! Who wants factory made chips in a restaurant Waitress wearing her sleeves all the way to her palm touching the plates. Also wearing jeans and sneakers. Be more professional

It was a good experience but the service was not the best. We waited for ever and was hard to get the server. The wait for food was also extremely long. We had the frites as an appitzier and they were very good as well as the garlic aioli that came with it was amazing. We ordered the steak frites and got it medium rare but it was extremely rare and we also got the chicken Alfredo and it was pretty good but the chicken did have quite a spice to it.

Honestly… I have tried Basil’s so many times because I want to like it so much. The service is CONSISTENTLY terrible. I have always told people when they ask my feelings about this restaurant “The food and drinks are good, but be prepared to have very terrible service if you go”. But my most recent visit was probably my last one. Friend and I were the only table in the entire restaurant — They had opened only 30 min prior. Took over 20 minutes to get our food. The servers never come to check on you so you practically have to chase them down for a refill on your drinks. Also, 75% of the time when you try and order something off the menu, they don’t have it! And their menu is already so limited! I never leave reviews but just remembered my last visit after a conversation about it and felt compelled to finally say something after 5+ disappointing visits. I hope they work on these issues.

Just another BREWERY pretending to be a restaurant. Limited menu. Definitely need a staff dress code! I've seen street walkers dressed more modest. Overpriced greasey sandwich that took 35min to make. We were 1 of 4 tables? in the entire restaurant(brewery). If not for the beer this place would of gone out of business years ago. Thought we give it a shot after going there after it first open.......still bad. I guess if your drunk enough anything tastes good ? luckily there's students and tourists in this town because locals don't go there for good food. Don't waste your money!! Unless you enjoy being nauseated for hour?

It’s a shame the service is so slow here because the food is usually very good. Way under staffed for the volume they do at lunch. Every time we come the excuse is always “we had several large groups come in and swamp the kitchen”. Large groups come in every day. This is our third time in a row of waiting for over an hour to get lunch served. A sandwich and a cup of soup shouldn’t take that long. Unfortunately, we won’t come back for a fourth attempt.
The Basil Special sandwich is great, but get it with the eggplant fries. They're amazing! Drinks are good and they have specials.

Hidden gem in Boone! We were lucky enough to find this place in a general search for Italian/pasta restaurants in Boone and it did not disappoint. Pastas are freshly made from scratch and excellent. We ordered the Shrimp Pappardelle and the Chicken and Sundried Tomato entrees and both were delicious. The portions were plentiful and the service was great. Definitely recommend!
