after coming here off & on for the last year or so because its the only bagel shop in town I'm over it and I guess i'll consider bagels out of my diet from to go restaurants since living here. 25% of the time i place an order here I am told by the servers it should be 15-20minutes, however when I arrive i'm expected to pay for my meal when it's not ready yet after 30minutes even still. and i'm told it will be another 10minutes after paying. This is not the only time this has happened, it happens very often on weekends, if you know you are busy why are you actively lying to customers on wait times for their meals?

I visited Bagelry this morning and was quite disappointed with the service. The staff seemed inattentive and did not provide proper care for customers from the time they entered the store to when they left. I spent approximately 45 minutes in the establishment, despite having ordered just a salad, a bagel, and a drink.

Edit: for the record, the place was empty, and the last time I came in and ordered a BLT I swear they had to butcher the pig it took so long. And they forgot the cheese I paid extra for. I've gotten more attentive, more prompt service at a toddler's lemonade stand.

We heard this place was good from locals - quick and easy. When you walk in there is a window to order if you are getting to go. Menu is on a table behind the window - only saying this bc no one really explains anything when you walk in other than if you are getting to go you can’t sit down. Bagels are good they go heavy on the spread

This was my 2nd time in Boone and I was really looking forward to a good bagel place for brunch. Boy was I wrong. In all honesty the food was pretty solid. Nothing special but still good. I waited for 2 bacon egg and cheeses and 2 bagels with cream cheese for over an hour. Staff was pretty nice but the wait for some bagels with the restaurant not being crowded was pretty crazy to me coming from someone who’s been in the food industry before. Would I come back? Maybe, if no one was in the store.

I've been coming to Boone Bagelry since I was an undergraduate student (class of 08!) and the food is always consistently good. Whenever we visit Boone, it's a must stop for my husband and I on at least multiple occasions for their bagel sandwiches, platters, or taking bagels back to our AirBnB. It's a little on the divey side, which I love. I'm surprised to see some of these reviews, because I've consistently had great food here for well over a decade. Highly recommend.
