Bagels were fresh and hot. Coffee was on point. The staff were so friendly!! Next time we’re in Boone we will be back!!

When my group of 4 went they weren't too busy but when we got seated and our waiter took our order we had to wait around 30 minutes just to get our coffee and people that got there after us were getting food before my table, food is good but in my opinion portion sizes are a little small for the price. Great food though.

I was so excited to see Boone Bagelry still open after my 30 year hiatus. I recall the bagels being fresh and the eggs and fixings all homemade. We waited for about 20 minutes to get a table and the service was fantastic. However, the bagels were dry and plain. The egg and bacon tasted over done and the cheese tasted like a plastic wrapped piece of cheese. Loved that the environment hadn’t changed a bit.

I was visiting and a friend told me to make sure to go, we went and bought a dozen bagels and 2 different cream cheeses. I was so sad the next morning when I went to eat my everything bagel (bought 3, one for each day) and they werent there... that is the only reason for giving it a 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Do not go if there is a line! We were visiting from out of town and stopped here to get bagels. There was a line, but we figured it would move fast since it's a bagel shop. Not the case. Took over an hour to get a couple bagels with cream cheese. At least 40 minutes waiting to order and then at least 20 minutes to get our order. Don't waste your time.
I didn’t get to try the food because, after ordering at the counter, I waited over 30 min before having to leave without my food because I had somewhere to be. No refund. I can only recommend going if you have an hour you can allot to a bagel breakfast.
Thanks for your reply. There were only 5 people ahead of me in line, which at other bagel shops I frequent is usually manageable. If there had been a line into the parking lot I certainly would have gone somewhere else!
I did tell the cashier that we were leaving and they just said ok. I was afraid to throw any more kinks into the operation as it was clear y’all were struggling.

We’ve been eating here for years and it did not disappoint again! Get an overstuffed Bagelicious on an everything bagel and as you can see the chocolate chip pancakes were a HUGE hit!

This place is a train wreck. We went with a family of four, two adults and two kids. There were approximately four parties in front of us. When we asked to be seated they said it would take ten minutes, despite the fact that approximately 10 tables were open. So we decided to just get carry out. After 25 minutes all we received was one plain, untoasted bagel with no spread. The party in front of us still hadn’t received their food (when we ordered there were only three people in front of us) so we decided to leave as it was completely unclear when we would receive our order (two basic breakfast sandwiches), and just donate to them the cost of our sandwiches.
The one bagel we got was fine. It wasn’t bad, but it was definitely nothing to write home about.
If you are looking for a place that will take all morning to get an average bagel, this is your place!

It’s hard to tell who’s the owner, manager, or employee because everyone provided such great service! The bagels were incredible, the coffee was excellent, and the only “complaint” I have is my own unstoppable craving for coffee—which got a little messy. Lola made us feel like regulars on our very first visit.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I walked in and stood at the register for about 10 minutes, and not once was I acknowledged by any of the workers, even though several of them looked directly at me. When they finally came to the register, instead of saying “I’ll be right with you” they continued talking amongst themselves. Eventually, I had to ask if someone could take my order, and only then did I get a response: “We’re backed up, I’ll take your order in a bit.” That’s something they could have easily said at the start. A simple acknowledgment goes a long way, and the lack of basic customer service made the whole experience extremely frustrating.
