I decided on Boone Bagelry rather than grabbing something from a local chain. I love local eateries!I was not disappointed! I had a bagel/cream-cheese and coffee. The bagel was crusty on the outside chewy on the inside. The coffee was nice and hot. They have many different kinds of bagels. They also have many different kinds of cream cheese spreads. The staff / friendly. I enjoyed my coffee and bagel so much, when I come back to Boone, I’m heading back to this place for a warm and refreshing experience.Lots of parking in their own parking lot .
I went here the other day, and ordered a simple sausage egg and cheese. It took more than 30 minutes to receive this, even thought it was not that busy in the restaurant. There were also several people that received their order before me. One of the workers was loudly talking badly a customer. I work as a waitress, and I would never speak like that about a customer in front of other customers. I would not have even left a review if I had not read through other reviews and seen how unprofessional the owner's responses were. Instead of getting defensive and being rude, I suggest taking constructive criticism and working on training your staff to be more polite and efficient.

My good friend has been going to this establishment for 25 years. After this visit we will not be be visiting again. We waited 40 minutes for our food about 30 of those minutes none of the servers acknowledged us.When the server finally got to us we got told “We are busy right now”. I’m not sure if the server forgot to put the order in but it’s a shame the good food has to be ruined by the horrible service and atmosphere. I will not be visiting again.
