If you enjoy the taste of a leather couch torched by the fires of Mordor (with the looks to match) you might consider eating pizza from here. Beyond DRY, bland, virtually sauce-less, and with pepperoni so crisp and blackened it crumbles when you take it out of the box. Hard pass from me. Did I mention dry? I can't emphasize how dry this is, certainly the driest pizza I've ever encountered. Dry. Dry. Dry. Might as well eat the box.

Im working out of town so I decided to order in at the motel. I am tired of sub par over priced food. I should have just stuck with a known chain pizza restaurant. My salad was so hot and wilted I threw that right in the trash. They got the flavor of my wings wrong but I still ate them as I was hungry from working all day. And the pizza wells ive had wat better frozen. So for $60 for one person to eat crap food sucks. I would waste my money or time with this place.

Was staying in West Jefferson with family. Daughter and son-in-law said Capone’s was their favorite pizza place. They ordered take out and then drove from West Jefferson to Boone to pick it up, approximately 50 mile round trip. When he returned to the cabin and opened the pizza box we were shocked. We had an extra large burnt pizza. The crust was black and pepperoni was crispy. None of the other toppings were recognizable. We each ate a small slice and had to throw away the rest of the pizza. They said this was the last time they would order from Capone’s. When I go with them and want pizza I’ll go to Little Caesars which is five minutes from their cabin, not 1 hour.

Maybe it was what I ordered, but the deep dish lunch special was awful. Barely cooked and a cornmeal crust. Just not pizza tasting as all. This was my first time there and I was really hoping to like it. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

Unusual place. Seat myself, then walk back to the front to order, then sit back down. Food did come. It was a great pizza! Just Unusual service.

Something odd about this place. On a Friday evening in a college town, there were exactly four tables occupied. We were shown to a booth, given menus, and then informed that we would have to walk back to the restaurant entrance to place our order. There was a bar but no bartender. One of the servers poured me a beer from a very limited list which included no ciders, a single seltzer, and a choice of two wines, red or white. In fairness, the pizza itself was quite good. But the atmosphere was dead, and not having our order taken by a server at our table was a bit weird.
I was met once i came in. Was seated. Was told once I was ready to offer to please come order at the desk. Then I was pointed in the direction where the cups and drinks were located. I order a Pizza sub and a side salad. My husband ordered a Calais and side salad. The bowl was the size of a small dessert dish. The food was decent when it came out. No one ever checked on us the whole time we sit there. They were at the front desk playing in their phone. And to beat it all, we paid 39.00 for this. I will never come back. I have never been to a restaurant where I served myself the whole time. The only thing I didn't do was make the food. Would not recommend this place.

You order at counter they deliver to table. Drinks self serve. Pizza is good but on the high end price wise toppings skinny for price. Salad bar fair but also a bit pricey for the size of bowl you are given. Single serving.
