Soooooo disappointed! We've been away for a year and couldn't wait to get over to a Boone staple. Sadly, it has a new owner. The food has suffered a great deal. The waitstaff/bartender/hostess were all entirely uninspired. Gone is the friendly, happy, place where we can get great food for a reasonable price in an upbeat atmosphere. The end of an era.

We visited Dos Amigos with a big group, and the whole experience was fantastic. Our server was amazing—super friendly and somehow remembered every single order. With a group our size, that’s seriously impressive.
The food? Absolutely delicious and served in huge portions. The carne asada was tender and full of flavor, and the quesadilla was cheesy, golden, and perfectly crisp definitely one of the highlights. Every dish felt like it was made with care and bold flavor.
And then there was the fried ice cream. Enormous, crispy, creamy, and just ridiculously good. It was the perfect way to wrap up the meal.
Between the generous portions, standout dishes, and top-tier service, Dos Amigos is a must visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I grew up here, been coming here since I was very young, now I've aged 39 and in my years spent close to around 3 years combined traveling and living in México. I have memories of my parents bringing me here when I was very young. I came back here after those adventures and receivied pure love from every méxicano in this place. I asked this last time the chef choose a dish de México. It was so absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a special gem run and operated by proud Mexicans con amor (with love). This is a locally owned proud restaurant that is operated by real Méxicano culture. I support them, I encourage you to take your family to eat and celebrate México. I had the lunch fajitas. The grilled flavor was so good. Loved every bite. He had the lunch chimichanga and it was delicious. Some of the coldest beer around. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
