I came across Eem Boone by coincidence and what a delightful experience it was.
I got a Tomyum soup as starter and got the Panang Duck as entrée. The soup was delicate with the right amount of spice and the duck was crispy and moist. The vegetables were just right and crunchy. The servers are on their toes, but not pushy. They give you time to enjoy your meal. As others mention, there is a big tv in the room that might take some attention away if you are easily distracted. However, I am happy to recommend Eem Boone if you fancy a Thai dinner.

Our family loves going here. Excellent Thai food. I've tried almost everything on the menu and everything has been excellent. They're pretty conservative on spiciness, so I have to insist when I order Thai-hot.

Nice and friendly. I had the beef pad see ew it was delicious best by far from all Thai restaurants I’ve been. Definitely will be back if in the neighborhood.

Music so peaceful and the environment brings about calm. Fresh roll. Or my thought veggie roll on a higher class. Me I’m having salmon with fried rice

My husband and I visited Eem Boone during a recent trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The food was delicious and seasoned well, but not overly. We had a Crab Rangoon appetizer, which was perfectly crispy, creamy and scrumptious. My husband had the Shrimp Teriyaki and found the shrimp just right, with a tasty sauce and a few veggies. I had the yellow curry with grilled chicken and loved the mix of textures and flavors. The avocado was a pleasant surprise and the potatoes, carrots, broccoli and other veggies were cooked to perfection - crisp - tender.
The dining room had a large screen television, but it was not obtrusive to conversation. The service was attentive, yet not pushy. Prices were appropriate.
Did we love dining here? Yes, and we are recommending Eem Boone to our friends here and back home.

Hated to have to choose, but I went with the ginger duck instead of pho. Perfectly crispy duck, perfectly sautéed veggies, and purple sticky rice is my new favorite. Just a great meal all around. Would love to have risked a belly ache by eating it all at once, but now I can look forward to a delicious dinner! Price point is not fast food, but I'm thinking its worth it for a great meal. Definitely coming back to try the pho. Finally a restaurant worth driving to Boone for!

My husband and I absolutely LOVE their Tomkha Soup. It is so delicious. I also love their red curry! I want to try more items on the menu, but it’s hard to skip those two items that I know make me so happy! :)
