This would have been my favorite spot in boone... unfortunately someone yelled out a racial slur during last weeks playoff games which really killed the vibe for me. Still beer is cheap there and I kinda suspect if you hang around anywhere in Boone long enough you'll hear some dicey comments (as unfortunate as that is). That aside a huge pool room, and the guy working in there is a g. My buddy was drunkenly trying to put something back up on the wall, and the guy thought he was trying to steal it lol. After resolving the situation the guy felt so bad he let us play pool for free and apologized repeatedly. How often do you run into people like that nowadays? In my experience literally never, so that guy was awesome. I think I'd put this as my second favorite spot behind Boone Saloon 4/5 Google rating 6/10 Mr. Void rating (and both would be higher minus the racial slur from the patron so not sure if its completely fair to keep in my rating but I have to, that's the rules).

Waitress was not very knowledgeable about food options. Only told us about the specials for the day. I asked if they had an actual menu. After it arrived, I discovered they had a decent selection of foods. The Ruben was great.

My son and i went here around 5 pm. I don't like bars much, but at this time of day, this place is quite pleasant for a sports bar Why the awesome rating? THE FOOD and service. I had the bourbon burger (mushroom & swiss with extras) and pub fries. Both were superlative and the price/performance was good; you'll have leftovers. My son had the fried egg burger, which was just as good. You won't be disappointed.
Funnest bar I've been to in years loved the darts and pool and even a fooseball table!!! The workers are amazing the regulars are amazing and even trustworthy! I left my wallet unattended and no one touched it!! Can't wait to go back!

i’m from Charleston, SC and up here after Helene. I am purposely taking time to tell everybody that this place HANDS DOWN has the best burgers in Boone. I was hungry and my fried egg burger was perfect. it was plump, juicy, a good size and hot. Everyone’s food in our take out order was just delicious!
