Stopped here every morning during our stay at the Horton next door. Staff was helpful and coffee was great and fairly priced.

Good coffee with an attitude.

Real coffee shop, coffee roasted on. Premises, talented barista, hands on owner. Great smells.

It's the best in town, duh.

If you don’t have the appearance of someone with far-left politics expect to get rude/angry service. When I pay $5 for caffeine I like it made without prejudice.

I love the ambiance of this coffee shop! I would totally spend an afternoon here. The coffee was good, but a little bitter. My biggest complaint is the tops for the cold cups!! They suck!!! Change them please! I wasn't able to take a sip without either slurping or spilling the coffee.

They never disappoint and no matter how busy it is when you get there, they still get you serviced very fast.

Espresso News is a very cute place tucked into Howard St, quick walk from App State’s campus. Reading the reviews, this is a very popular place; however I was underwhelmed by the clutter, the sense that I was a burden to the staff when I walked in, and the iced mocha I ordered. I would go back and try again the next time I’m in town to give it a second chance. Every place has off days, so hoping it was that!

E news has gone way downhill. Super rude baristas, someone living in a van with weird smells right in front of the place, and just feels sketchy all around. Go to local lion and skip this once-cool, now wretched sketchbox.

Rude and snarky.

I guess it’s friends welcomed only?

An established cafe tucked off Main Street behind mini mall.

Tea selection is top notch. Bring your own stainless steel mug. Earl grey!!

Coffee is amazing.
Espresso pull is excellent.

Drip is on point.
Two visits in two days.
Kenya, organic Guatemalan, or dark Sumatra were options,
next day, organic Mexico, Brazil, + 1, sorry has to go since I was illegally parked one lot over.

We also ordered white chocolate mocha in cafe which was delicious! ?

Staff is friendly, talks to everyone, tons of regulars and mountaineers come through.

Food options are pastries, such as blueberry muffin, cinnamon caramel scone, unimpressed.

Be aware, small space, long lines, avoid peak times or get there earlier for a better experience.

A staple in Boone, would return, highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: Pastries, tea, coffee.
Eat at wild craft.

Dietary restrictions: Not many options that I was aware of. Every food item has gluten

Parking: 4 spaces in front, rest in lot are for footsloggers store. Easier to park on king street or other and walk back.

Kid-friendliness: Kids would be okay here, better for college aged or above.

Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant doors, but did not see table area available
