This review is long overdue but I had to show my appreciation! We had our rehearsal dinner at Galileo's and everything about the event was exceptional. Mark and Anne were so easy to work with leading up to and during the dinner -- they're casual in a way that kept us nice and calm, but made clear that they were ready to take care of everything when the day came. And they did! They closed the restaurant for the day so our people could come in and decorate. We had a taco bar with a few appetizers and everything was absolutely delicious, very fresh with quality ingredients (we'd eaten here before the event too, and the burgers are to die for). Their service with the drinks and food was great and they timed everything perfectly. We were able to seat ~75 people inside and on the outdoor patio. And boy were they affordably priced! You can easily spend 4 times as much having a dinner at other locations where they'll reserve a room for you. We much preferred having the entire restaurant to ourselves and the staff giving their undivided attention. And there was an entire game room waiting downstairs for us after dinner! What's not to like? All our guests had a wonderful time and were very complimentary of the food and venue. We owe a big thanks to Galileo's!

The food was wonderful and I recommend it fully. I got the big boi and It filled me up so much and I almost couldn't finish it. We also got tacos and they were presented amazingly and tasted better than they looked.
One of the best bars in Boone! Fresh food, cold drinks, and a friendly owner. I always feel comfortable here. They have a couple of pool tables downstairs and have great themed trivia during the week. They also host various events on the weekends. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a safe, vibrant neighborhood bar.

Galileo's is one of the best restaurants in Boone. I live their fish tacos and the ghost pepper burger. For folks with little ones, the kid's menu is great. The Wednesday night trivia is my favorite in town-- fun, surprising questions and puzzles. Good beer selection and the staff is great.
