We had a very excellent experience at Howard Station. The moment we arrived, Alaina welcomed us and made us feel at home. She is very friendly, the food arrived quickly. The food was excellent and service was top notch. She even offered to go drink when we are done. This restaurant will be our go to place to eat when we are in town
When I think Boone, NC—I think of Howard Station. I first tried it in 2023, but since—every time I come to Boone, I have to have either the brisket or pulled pork. Don’t let that deter you from the wings, they’re also amazing! Everything is full of smoke flavor. You can even smell it a street away most times. This place is great.
We went to visit Boone and see a movie. Forget The Local! It had too strong social agenda. We wanted fantastic meal. We will return just for Howard Station BBQ! Best BBQ I have ever had. Period. Fried smoked wings with Jamaican rub was sooooo good. No sauce needed. Smoked Mac n cheese was mouth watering (was that Gouda in there)? Ribs fell off the bone. Ask about secret taco menu.
