I caught the sunrise at the parkway and typed best coffee near me and this place had the highest reviews. I got a hot coffee blueberry and vanilla latte and it had the heart design on it for me lol...most importantly, they allowed my Husky, Meekah into the shop to sniff around and be sporadic. Wonderful vibes and great coffee. Highly recommended!!

Ah sheeeeesh! When I say this is now my go to coffee shop in Boone, I ain’t lying. The shop’s atmosphere is so nice. There are separate spaces for chilaxing and a bunch of board games. This used to be my go to place when I lived in Boone! I would stop by most mornings to get a cup of coffee. I have since moved but always make it a point to stop at Kovu, because they are one of my favorite places. I hadn’t been in boone in 8 months and they still remembered my coffee order. I love the customer service and sense of community they have! Truly a great business to support with awesome drinks and pastries!

Decent expensive coffee, but take it to go. Small inside, internet cuts out regularly, and like a dog park: Repeated loud dog growling noise when employees/regulars play with dogs inside while many others trying to study or work. Seems like they don't care if customers are working or studying.

I’ve only been here twice, but I’m definitely gonna be a regular! One of the coziest cafes I’ve ever been to, and on top of that it’s dog friendly! Great place to get work done and/or socialize. The only drink I have ordered so far is the matcha lavender frappe, and it’s phenomenal! I highly recommend Kovu’s if you’re in the area! :)Dietary restrictions: They have milk alternatives, and the up-charge is very little.
