This place has really went downhill! I hardly touched my food everything taste like burnt oil Yuck! Not to mention the extremely dirty bathrooms. I used to love this place but I will not be returning

All in all it was a fun time. The food was ok. Covered in soy sauce covers a multitude of tastes.

The sushi was the best part of the meal.

Was our favorite place to eat. We would drive an hour to get here but today was our last trip. The food was absolutely horrible. It was so salty you couldn’t eat it. Wasted 75.00 on something the dog wouldn’t even eat. We told the server and management and no one seemed to care. No wonder the parking lot was empty on a Sunday

I've been to makotos a handful of times and have had no personal complaints about the food, but on multiple instances I find employees yelling at other employees in front of customers. I do not believe that is the correct way to communicate things to your employees at all, especially not in front of other people who are coming to dine here. It's unprofessional and honestly just straight up upsetting. Idk what about that job makes everyone so angry but y'all should figure it out

Always love the food and atmosphere at Makoto's but I must say dinner is much more expensive than lunch and your don't get carrots with sesame chicken. It's an add on on for $8 extra? I didn't know that was standard. So, for our family, we will probably make sure we visit at lunch. Otherwise, great food. If there are only 2 of you, be aware, they will wait until the entire table is full before they bring a chef out. It could be a while.

Took my son here for his 5th birthday an it was awful. We sat down for 20 mins before our drinks orders were even took. They had a very hard time getting our food order right. Rice an shrimp were over cooked,scallops were chewy. Definitely not worth the money horrible experience

Daniel our Hibachi chef was outstanding. Good portions tasty.
Sushi in a separate part of the restaurant. Fresh and excellent in both quality and presentation.. Special thanks to Andy the Sushi chef. Tori our server and Lane the bartender.

Took my family of 9 here. Our server was sweet but didn’t come check on us during the meal at all. The food was horrible! The rice had an odd taste and was overall flavorless. They used the same sauce for every single thing. It was highly salty. The zucchini were not cooked all the way and they have nothing but shrimp sauce. No mustard, no ginger. Nothing. The steak was thin, fatty and a cheap cut. The prices were horrible for sub par food. I don’t mind paying a comparable price for a meal that is worth it, but this was a total waste of $350! Would not recommend at all!! I’ve had better Asian inspired food at tokyo express.

I love the cook in the Naruto headband and everyone is so friendly and nice plus the food is really good so easily a 5 star.

Took my nephew here for dinner after graduation! Everything was great!

Great food and experience for young and old. Don't forget to try the sushi out it is also very good.

My favorite meal ever. We usually go for my birthday. This time my birthday was Tuesday, so we were able to be seated quickly. But on weekend, you have to wait FOREVER and they dont take reservations. I hate it, but I am not willing to wait an hour for dinner when there are other choices, so we some years go somewhere not as nice but with less wait.
