For years I've wanted to go here my boyfriend suprised me we drove 68 miles to take me and a recently widowed friend. I was so excited to have a prime rib. Out of 5 people coming to our table reaching over our food to remove dirty dishes. I got my prime rib a little overdone so ask for A1 for mine and my boyfriends ribeye also the waiter forgot it until he came back to check on us he remembered another guy comes ask if we needed anything I said yes horseradish he said creamy I said yes. He never came back. I was so disappointed it felt we were pushed out the door as soon as we got our food. $160 very disappointed I couldn't get the condiments to go with food out of 5 people coming to our table is a shame.

We have looked forward to the Peddler ever time we go to Boone NC. This was the first time it was awful. My shrimp was over cooked and not eatable. So the replaced it with crab cakes which was very fishy and over fried. We didn’t ask for a refund but it should have been offered.

We came into town and decide to eat here again since we liked it in the previous time we came. We arrived and waited for our table to be ready as we had reservations at 7:45pm so we sat at the bar and had a drink & 2 appetizers as we waited for our table. Appetizers & drinks were great. Now once we got seated with our waiter we waited for a bit for him to come and take our order. I ordered a 6oz filet mignon cooked medium rare & my fiancé ordered a 10oz filet mignon cooked medium, well I can say my steak was not cooked correctly and my finance’s was over cooked as we waited for a while for our food to be brought out. The salad was good wish they had the salad bar like the other location does. But I would say we were disappointed on our steaks for how they came out as we waited probably over 30 mins for the food to come out. Would I come back again if I was in town? Probably not as this visit wasn’t that great. I don’t think it was worth $107 for the dinner part.

We came here Sunday night and our waiter was amazing, came to check on us a bunch and steadily refilled our drinks and got everything we needed.
However I spent $90 in there, and the filet mignon and shrimp I ordered had absolutely no seasoning on it (along with the rest of the party I was with) ended up having to drown it in A1 sauce, loaded potatoes and salad were great.
Everything tasted delicious. My filet was a little tough. Service was remarkable.
