Loved everything about our experience tonight ~ wait staff was attentive, personable, knowledgeable and on point!We loved watching them work as a team to make sure everyone was attended to.My husband chose a 22 ounce ribeye, cut table side and it was grilled perfectly and that speaks volumes because he is a Pittsburgh-style, Black and blue, cold in the middle snob when it comes to seared rare steak. The salad and sides were wonderfully paired as well. The wine list was impressive, as they carry my favorites Cakebread Chardonnay and Camus. It is very easy to understand why this family run jewel is such a staple in Boone. As restaurant owners we can definitely see the effort and personal touches on everything. Take a bow - you have impressed us.

We just came back from eating at The Peddler in Boone. It was my birthday. The food was scrumptious. We were seated early for our 7:15 reservation and were promptly greeted by our server, Naydelin. She has a beautiful smile and personality. She took our orders and was so attentive to our needs. We joked and bantered with her. She was just fantastic, already making a great evening even more special. Thank you so much to the entire staff, but especially to this wonder server.

They have unlimited salad, which you design. The wines were at a good price. My Peddler Ribeye was great, and the brocollini were on point. The table ordered NY Steak, Salmon, and Filet Mignon. Everyone was satisfied. The dessert we ordered the brownie with two scoops of ice cream and was enough for the 6 of us, and we also ordered the creme brulle.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! We made a reservation ahead of time and the hostess was able to seat us immediately. Very cool idea for ordering salad they give you a sheet of paper with different selections of types of salads then you also have the options of either adding things to your selection or making your own from scratch. Included options for a kids appetizer plate. (They do have a kids menu, we forgot to take a picture of it).The carver came to the table to take our order, we both chose the ribeye and he carved our selections at the table.I cannot say enough about the quality of the food we received. The steak was so tender and fell apart on our forks. I added some scallops as well and they were cooked perfectly.Well definitely come back next time we’re in town.Staff was great, attentive and polite. Drinks were never close to empty.Didn’t get dessert we were so full from our meals, maybe next time if we have room.Thank you, amazing!! Perfect score!!!Parking: Free parking right on the side of the building.Kid-friendliness: Kids chicken tenders and fries were great they didn’t leave anything in their plates.

The choose your own salad and bread was outstanding. We had the ribeye, filet, ny strip and prime rib. All steaks were cooked to perfection, just a little disappointed in the thickness of the steaks and amount of seasoning. All the sides were very good, just not enough veggie sides.

I love this place back in college, however, they have gotten rid of the salad bar and complement French onion soup. you now have to order your salad from a salad list but it is still unlimited. I had the prime rib which was $37. I've had better prime rib, and was not that impressed, I like to give this place another chance and next time get the ribeye

It's a steak house. They really value their meat. They will cut it to size for you. Cuts of meat aren't that great, but it's the only place in town that can cook a steak right. Seems to be the place people take a date. It's just a steak house, though. The salads are FIRE! They have decent beer on tap. Good place for a beer and steak after work.

Attended a late afternoon dinner for the wedding party at the peddler. Our server didn’t even know the ingredients of the salads they offered or what cocktails they could serve. The food was OK. I had the ribeye 10 ounce, which was really really thin, slightly overcooked along with their garlic, mashed potatoes. My wife had the salmon and vegetables. She said the salmon was flavorless. Given the prices at this restaurant, I would not ever go back.
