My car and about half a dozen others was blocked in a parking space and management refused to assist.. No announcement was made, and I personally had to go table to table to ask for the owners of any of the cars blocking us in. I was not able to find anyone and had to call the police. Once police arrived a member of the staff moved a vehicle that appeared to be the managers car parked on the street blocking the entrance.. I was nearly late for my son’s graduation because of the negligence of management. Completely unacceptable!

After failing to bring out the correct food order, we exited the establishment to learn that our vehicle and a half dozen others was trapped ny illegally parked vehicles blocking not only the legally parked vehicles but also the entrance to the establishment.one of these was a staff vehicle. the manager refused to assist and Boone police had to come to assist. Upon seeing police arrive, the rude and disrespectful employees and patrons moved their vehicles. unbelievable. Recommend look elsewhere for a restaurant in Boone.

Horrible experience. Trapped in the parking lot for over half hour because of illegally parked vehicles. Manager refused to assist. City police had to come to assist. Belligerent patrons came out justifying why they thought their illegal parking was justified, despite police stating it was disrespectful by patrons and establishment and should have been addressed by the establishment’s management. Nearly missed my family member’s graduation. Absolutely horrible experience. If you’re looking for a local establishment, there are plenty of better options in Boone.

The douchy dude with the 80s stash was so rude & aggressive. I thought he was going to literally hit me by the way he was acting all because my ID was expired. I was just there the night before with no issue. I won't be back. You shouldn't employee men that are aggressive towards women.

How about you honor what you post online? Lunch special is supposed to come with a tea, not a huge deal but you shouldn't be charged extra for something it's supposed to come with.
Had a great time watching football and eating a great meal. It’s exactly what it appears to be - a fun college sports bar with good drink specials and great food. And service was really good too!

Wow this place has gone downhill. Ordered at the bar and the young man was extremely quick and friendly. Sat down at a table and watched the game for about 45-60 minutes. Was then approached by an unfriendly server or host who explained that she needed to “kick us out”. Didn’t really explain much beyond that.
I’ve worked in the service industry and understand that guests seating themselves can be an issue during rush, but to sit for an hour and then be forced to move just shows a huge lack in attentiveness from the servers and hosts.

You can't go wrong with a meal at River Street Ale House. I ordered the Hula Burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The grilled pineapple added a unique sweetness that really made the burger stand out. And the chips that came on the side were excellent, too! The atmosphere is always lively, and it's a great place to hang out with friends. I highly recommend it if you're in Boone.
