I enjoy the service but what I didn't enjoy was the food after eating the sandwich my stomach started to feel a center way. I went to bed with a stomach in knots and in bed I ly to wake up this next morning throwing and Etc (I had realized I had Food positioning).

I haven't eaten here in almost a year, thought I'd give them another try this weekend. I gotta say they didn't improve any! The bread is burnt and unable to eat, the drinks are nothing but carbonated water and the service is terrible! Just trying to get cheese on your sandwich is difficult for them to do. Just rushing everyone through not really paying attention to what anyone says. The prices are ridiculously high for the lack of the quality of the food! The cashier was very nice and helpful though and they do offer a senior discount but you must ask for it before you pay.

I almost never leave reviews for places but I feel very bad for the woman working at subway today and wanted to give her some praise. It was pretty busy, she had a line of customers and several mobile orders and things were getting backed up. She was handling everything very well and kept a cheery disposition up to the customers. The issue was the man who was in training. She kept trying to show him how to make certain sandwiches and how to place the cheese and meats but he would just brush her off and say he’s got it. He acted as if he already knew how to do everything when he clearly didn’t. He made my friend and I sandwiches that were mostly fine but definitely not quite right and he forgot mine in the toaster a bit too long. He was also a little rude and off putting. I am generally a patient person and understand that first days are hard and there is a learning period. While I didn’t appreciate his attitude, I don’t necessarily want to get him in trouble since I don’t know if maybe he’s a good person having a bad day or if he was just frustrated. This post is mainly to say I think the woman there was being very patient and went above and beyond and I was impressed.

Hard to have quality trained staff when the owner is lazy... Toaster oven(s) 1 which doesnt work at all and the other which messes up sandwiches constantly yet isnt being replaced...Feel sorry for the guys and galls working there cause if you decide to eat in instead of taking your food out somewhere else your gonna here alot of "Im sorry" or "Im so sorry about that"...

Would honestly give 0 stars if possible. After knowing AND working with this owner before my company got off the ground I can 100% say he is not the type of person that should be in charge of his stores.The kids he has currently including the 18 year old who has no qualifications that he is trying to put into a managers position is astounding. With little to no proper training as well. Which it is not their fault per say that responsibility falls to the owner not taking the time and care of making sure his staff are correctly trained and placed into a suitable work environment...Todays visit I decided to get food from the Subway here and it was the new Baja Steak. The FIRST one was done incorrectly with the cold veggies on the bottom half of the bread (Fun fact its supposed to be meat on bottom half of the bread and veggies on the top half according to Subway University) AND the stores toaster oven for heating the meat is not functioning properly WHICH HAS BEEN KNOWN by the owner himself for some time now and said owner has neglected to get the store a new toaster oven (Which to me shows a very unprofessional nature in general as well as a potential health hazard/violation or two)I felt bad for the kids working here as the second sub was almost as inedible as the first. I would not recommend this location or the store in Newland, NC to even my worst enemies.
