We were on vacation/graduation from Rocky Mount, NC. We stopped here for breakfast & it was by far hands down one of the best places I've EVER eaten at! Our waitress was amazing & knew the menu! All of Sunrise Grill staff were very nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back when we come Boone.

Good place to get really nice scrambled eggs and some poached eggs They were nice to make it as per order.
To get in we did wait like 25 min on Sunday 11 am , line got busier before and after. They text you when they are ready. In the meantime you can get a coffee or matcha ( unsweetened and great ) by the entrance while you wait on the benches or tables / chairs if not occupied. Overall pretty good, would eat again if I wanted eggs n a classic American breakfast

This place is awesome! Have been here on 2 separate occasions while visiting Boone. The food is solid to excellent. Their prices are phenomenal. I don't know how they maintain such low prices nowadays but it’s crazy affordable for a lot of food. The pancakes are the best I have ever had. I don’t know their secret but they’re ridiculously good. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is, on both occasions, some of the food was cold. Specially the sausage gravy and eggs. Oh, and no cranberry juice on the menu. Overall these are nit-picky items but felt they should be mentioned.

Can’t stress enough how amazing this food was. We got the breakfast croissant special which had bacon,sausage,eggs,cheese, and a garlic mayo, The standard breakfast platter, and a blueberry pancake. Then the special toasted marshmallow latte and a white mocha latte. This food was so incredibly delicious and had so much flavor. It’s for sure a hidden gem!

Had a group of seven people for breakfast. They have a rule that all in the party must be seated at the same. Ok with that I guess. Had another rule that one server was not allowed to serve the seven of us so we had to have two servers for our party even though it was all on one check. Ok… Food was brought out to three of us in a timely manner and the other four of us had to wait 15 more minutes to get our food. We don’t get to eat together which is why we want to go out and eat together. The food was ok but not outstanding like some of the other reviews have stated. I talked to the person in charge about the situation after the four of us ate and she said she was sorry and would take my complaint into consideration. Basically a nice brush off for a tourist visiting Boone. Not even a couple of bucks off of the check for the inconvenience. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Customer service was great! Long wait (1 hour on Sunday morning around 10:30) which was expected) only to find out that we were going to sit at a table that had been empty for over 30 minutes. Strange to me. Worst part of the meal was the eggs. Scrambled with cheese but the cheese was thrown on top of the eggs after they were cooked. Cheese wasn’t melted or mixed into the eggs. How hard is that? Coffee was delicious. Salted Caramel latte and mocha latte was very good. Overall breakfast was good.

The sunrise grill is a must hit breakfast spot any time you’re in town. I always love the Florentine benedict & my husband tries a different hearty meal every time. They have wonderful coffee. Since there’s almost always a little wait (the good food is well worth it), get yourself a fresh made cup of coffee & check out the art on the walls.

I’m almost angry at myself for not eating here sooner. I LOVED the That’s a Wrap lunch item and their fries are amazing. Also, I was with a group that came in 30 minutes before closing and THEY WERE SO POLITE ! 🥹 nicest servers ever, excellent food, I literally joined to leave this review bc I was so impressed. I cannot wait to go here again
