Vanilla seems low quality; grainy , more like sherbet not a vanilla yogurt. Machines not working. When it comes out too soft to stay on a cone, runny sometimes. Got my great granddaughter a small amount maybe 4 tablespoons and cost about $4. Plenty of toppings just not many flavors. More sorbets then a good creamy tasting flavors
I have tried to give this store the benefit of the doubt many times but today was my last visit. I went on a Wednesday at 8 pm and the store was very unkempt. There are always many machines out of order and the toppings are always down to the last scoop. The floors are terribly dirty and so was the topping bar. Today someone was trying to clean up but then left the bottle of chemical cleaner in front of the topping bar unattended easy for anyone to reach and very close to all the toppings. The worst part is the people working here always make you feel very unwelcome. I understand having off days but every single time I come to this location I feel like a huge bother by just walking in the store.
i love sweet frog. It’s cheap and you gotta love the whole self serve thing.
Used to love this place but recently it’s clear that they have not given it the attention it deserves. When I used to get a small amount of yogurt with no toppings, it would be around 3$, I got the same amount today and it was 8$…. Not sure why were charging more when the employees are not helpful, the flavors are all disgusting (I threw mine away) and they are out of half of the flavors and the ones they have aren’t frozen? They really need to put some attention into this store instead of just relying on the fact that they’re the only froyo on Boone.
The frozen yogurt is ok the place is dirty and needs a lot of maintenance
Consistently bad. I’ve tried giving it the benefit of the doubt because we all have ‘off’ days but it’s been terrible. Out of 16 possible flavors available, they are constantly missing at least 2-3 machines (4-6 flavors). The machines they do have hardly work. Multiple flavors either just don’t come out or are totally liquid, essentially narrowing your choices down to about 4 flavors to choose from that actually work. The floors are disgusting. Ice cream/yogurt is everywhere in front of the machines and toppings are all over the counter and floors too. The past 5 times we’ve been, the hot fudge dispenser doesn’t work. Toppings are low and barely even have 1 scoop left in them. Tonight, the spoons were in the container spoon side up instead of handle side up so that way every person that got a spoon touched the part that goes in your mouth. The college kids that work there are never behind the counter, restocking things or cleaning… they are always in the back and only come out every once in a while and typically only have 1 employee working at a time.
Great! Lots of fresh toppings and great selections of frozen yogurt!
This is a great place to take the kids or grab something sweet. A little pricey, but not too bad. We go here often.
Do you love only having one non-diabetic froyo option when you go get froyo? Do you love that only option to be vanilla? And do you love listening to Christian marriage counseling talk radio, where they discuss how much better they are than LGBTQ people even if they get divorced? Boy, have I got the place for you!
The yogurt was liquid, not frozen, in 75% of the machines as shown in the picture of my son's birthday treat. The toppings were fine. If I am paying $11 for a small cup of yogurt, it needs to be frozen. I'm very disappointed.

Showed up well within regular store hours on a Wednesday, they were completely closed with no reason or even a sign on the door. Has happened multiple times - you never know if they’ll be open when they’re supposed be to or not.

On Sunday, August 24, 2024 at approximately 4:30pm there were 6 of us (3 adults & 3 children) that entered Sweet Frog in Boone NC. There were only 3 customers there at the time we entered. When we approached the yogurt dispensers the first one, chocolate, had leaked and looked like a large cow paddy. 💩 about 10 inches tall. We saw no one around managing the place, many of the toppings were out, the counters were trashy and needed wiping off. The chairs, tables, and walls had stuff (yogurt and toppings) dried up on them. Everything was so disheveled and trashy. Under these conditions I will not return.
I love Sweet Frog, especially the original tart flavor. However, when eight out of sixteen flavors, including original tart, are out of order, it's hard to love Sweet Frog at all. Disappointing for the only frozen yogurt store in town.
As the only frozen yogurt place in boone, you’d think more flavors would be available but we came in and seven of the flavors were unavailable, two full machines broken and pulled out. As much as it seems the employees can’t help out with fixing them, upper management should take priority in their machines working. Considering other reviews from the last two weeks have pictured the same machines out of order, i’m guessing they still haven’t made any progress on getting them fixed.
hopefully we get a new frozen yogurt place soon!! ❤️

This store is always dirty. The tables are all smudged and three out of 8 yogurt machines were out of order. My husband and I love treating ourselves from time to time. I hope they implement some sort of cleaning protocol so that the tables are more inviting to sit at and the floor isn’t covered in spills from the toppings bar.
