We had a reservation and it took well over an hour to get our food with no update or acknowledgment that it was taking so long. Our entire dinner took nearly 2 hours. Poor service. Wife's pasta entree was very good, salads were very good. My meat entree was tough and only came with meat. The additional side came out so overcooked it was sent back.
This was our second time at Beacon, and we absolutely love it. The ambience is pleasant with modern decor. Waitstaff is very friendly. We ordered 2 appetizers, the mussels and tuna crudo, both were excellent. We also had the bread basket, and it was some of the best bread I've ever had. We were filling up so decided to share a pizza and just yum! We will continue to go back to Beacon and recommend it highly.
It was really nice—offering some unique selections. We shared a lot of items. Had the Pork Chop with apricots and fennel, Tuna Crudo, Smoked Bison Meatballs, Charred Caesar, Roasted Carrots, Tiramisu, Wine Options, Cocktails, NA Beer, and even Mocktails. We tried it all and everything was really tasty. Service was quick as we were there early ahead of a concert in town. Our server was knowledgeable. He gave high remarks about the featured wine and duck fat punch cocktail--so we had to try them. Parking was easy. Decor was nice and modern. We would eat here again for sure.
Dining at the Beacon is a ABSOLUTE MUST if you find yourself in the Boone area. From the moment our party was greeted at the door, we were provided exceptional service and attention that allowed for my guests and I to completely relax and enjoy the experience. Everyone at the table raved over the presentation, taste, and creativity of their dishes, with each bite being savored. This is a restaurant that strives to go beyond tasty food, that welcomes all and makes each person feel special. The Beacon has become my favorite local restaurant and my instant recommendation to anyone looking for a top-notch dinner experience.
Such a great dinner and vibe! My friend and I split the ragu pasta, charred Caesar and broccoli rabe - the flavors on each of them were phenomenal. Leah was an AWESOME server, super informed with the menu and genuinely seemed to love what she does! The manager stopped by to check on our meal and was super friendly. My friend has a gluten allergy and there were tons of options for her including dessert. She had the gf choc mousse, I had the lemon polenta - changed my life!! Amazing time and can't eat to come back. Thanks to a great chef with some great ideas!
This was our first experience at the Beacon and it did not disappoint. We had lamb kebabs and buffalo meatballs for an appetizer. They were delicious, but would have really appreciated the server letting us know that the metal skewers were hot before we touch them. We also had fillet, lamb chops and Alaskan trout, and it was fabulous. We had a wonderful table and we had live acoustic guitar, but we were easily able to talk and it wasn't too loud – it was just right. Wonderful time great service. Would highly recommend.
Beacon Butcher Bar has always been great and a go-to for us, the the new menu is next level! Truly outstanding.
A “fine dining experience” that is somehow the downstairs area of a studio apartment building

We were there for New Year's Eve. Excellent service and food that is hard to find outside if Europe. The elk and the steel trout were wonderful, as were the other 5 dishes, as well as the wine pairings.

I never thought that I could enjoy such a treat. The bread was just divine. The pasta is made in-house. And the dessert was a great finishing touch. I will be coming again soon

First visit was on Thanksgiving eve and they hit the ball out of the park. Enjoyed a delicious meal and wine pairing with my favorite man. Our server was gracious, personable, confident, poised...we were welcomed by the GM who checked in with us mid-meal. Will definitely return the next time I am in Boone.

Had a wonderful dinner, albeit a more limited menu from prior to Hurricane Helene. Delicious food, great service. The guitarist that sang and played what I would call a jazz fusion type of music was fantastic!
