The food was good. Side dishes are large enough for at least 3. Lots of glass and stone make it quite noisy.
When traveling I always rely on OpenTable. We had such a great experience from start to finish. Our server was knowledgeable and the food she helped select was out of this world. Little musical background made for a perfect evening.
One of my favorite restaurants of all time. I was a little disappointed that we went on the pizza and salad night so they just had a limited menu. Everything was still awesome, but was looking forward to having my favorite dish. Now I know!
Horrible experience. Rude server. Cold food
Horrible service
We hosted our wedding dinner reception at the Beacon Butcher Bar, and everything was absolutely phenomenal! From the beautiful, inviting space to the incredibly delicious food and impeccable service, they exceeded every expectation we had.
Dinner was served family style, and the menu was to die for — our guests raved about the variety and bold flavors in each dish. The team at Beacon truly knows how to create a memorable dining experience.
A huge shout-out to Brad, who was our main point of contact. He was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a spectacular evening to celebrate with our loved ones.
We could not recommend Beacon Butcher Bar enough — whether you’re looking for a fantastic dinner or the perfect place for a private event, this is it! Thank you for making our special day even more unforgettable. ❤️
Outstanding in every way! Food was excellent from start to finish with service to match. On if best meals and experiences we've had in recent memory.
Highly recommend! I reserved a table to celebrate my husband's birthday while we were on vacation. Superb food from start to finish, excellent service, terrific live music and decor is amazing.
The Beacon is one of the top restaurants in the area and an absolute go-to. The food is absolutely stellar. While the price is on the higher end as it is more upscale dining, the value is there. You get more than enough food. My husband and I love to split an appetizer, a salad, an entree, or more often we get our own entree...it's just so hard to choose. You most certainly won't leave hungry. There's a difference between hospitality and service and the team excels in the area of hospitality. You will leave wanting to come back and try another of their amazing sounding menu items. Don't sleep on this gem in the High Country.
Went for the Jazz festival jam session at 10 am. Seated myself as there was no one at the front. Watched some great Jazz for 45 mins. There was a reduced menu on the table but I did not see any waitstaff during that time. I wanted to grab a pizza and beer but ended up leaving and grabbing something from Wendy’s on the way back down the mountain. Seemed like a great room with likely (it was 10pm) lots of natural light is about all I can say. Good on them for hosting the Jam session as I had never been there before.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Everything was fantastic! Our server, Tyhra, (as well as all other staff) was friendly, helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the steelhead trout, crispy potatoes and charred carrots and an amazing chocolate mousse for dessert. I am so looking forward to our next trip to Boone to dine here again!
Honestly I regret not taking photos & videos but I was so overwhelmed with delight after delight that I'd thought I'd died and gone to Heaven. It's rare that I surrender so completely to an atmosphere that I forget that I'll be reviewing it later as I always want to share the best of the best when I find it! THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST! Core memory building from absolutely delicious fine dining, to genuinely amazing talent playing live... I genuinely asked our Goddess of a server if I had made it to Heaven or in the middle of a dream. She was amazing as was everyone INCLUDING the valets. I left giggling & smiling. I felt like the World could wait until tomorrow & that last night was just for my friend & I. The bison meatballs alone were worth the trip. The salad was beautiful and well balanced & the strawberry sorbet was refreshing and oh so truly strawberry. The talent that night wooing us with her siren song was a lovely lady Noan Partly! 💕 She plays there I believe every other Thursday- tip her well!!! I'll be back again. 💯 would recommend again & again.
The family and I have eaten here several times. They never disappoint.
First time and we loved it! Will be back often. Food was outstanding, reasonably priced. Service was great, nice ambiance as well. They had live music and it was awesome.
I think this would be better known as the Broken Beacon. Not only did it break my wallet but it broke my heart, taste buds, and mental sanity. If you're getting the pasta beware...it tastes like Great Value noodles from Walmart and half cooked. Not to mention it cost 30 dollars and wouldn't even feed an infant. This place is a rip. The fish wasn't even as good as a fish sandwich at McDonald's. Speaking of McDonald's I'd rather go to McDonald's than this shack. I expect almost perfection for the prices. Not saying I'm trying to find every little thing that's bad about this place since the prices are high but I literally couldn't find anything good about the food. If you do manage to go here...God bless your wallet. I would've expected more for what I was paying.
