The high/recent reviews must have been paid for. The food here was a huge let down. Brisket and turkey were dry. Out of the 4 of us, no one got anything that was delicious. Which is a shame when we’re from out of state and we’re hoping to see what Carolina bbq was all about. (The ranch dressing was tasty though).

I had two visits to this restaurant in the past week. The first visit was pretty good with Food being 3.5/5. I had the pork shoulder bbq sandwich. I returned last night for a second visit and ordered the pork shoulder bbq sandwich again. It appeared that they packed the sandwich with mainly burnt ends, making it tough and dry. Very disappointing visit for my wife and I. Food rating 1/5. Service was average. It will be a few months before I might give this place another try.

I can't rave about this place enough!! The food was absolutely delicious, the seasonal cider mimosa was yummy, the server was very attentive, the place was very clean!! Did I mention the food was spectacular??? I had the Prime Brisket chili with beans & collard greens with a Ciderboys Seasonal cider mimosa!!! Joe had Brisket, ribs, Mac & cheese & fried okra and the cider. If you travel to Boone....do NOT miss this place!

Brisket and honey glazed pork belly was absolutely amazing. Also got pulled pork which was a little dry though. They also brought us out a sample platter of sauces which was super neat to try them all (made in house).
