Turkey was dry but everything else was delicious, greenbeans were over cooked but man oh man, you gotta get those dang pulled pork fries. They are to die for. Place was clean and simple to navigate.

Fall-off-the-bone St. Louis ribs, fresh collards, hushpuppies ... all wonderful. Service superior.

My husband and I ate our first time at the Pedalin Pig a few months ago. Excellent food and service. We stopped tonight while passing through Boone but had a different experience. The sign on the door states 9:00 as closing time. We arrived at 7:35and were seated. We had a very good and kind server. She came back to check on us and was very attentive. The food was good. We noticed the servers were cleaning and prepping for closing. While we were still eating, a young man that was cleaning came by the table and while taking our sauces away ask if we were finished with them. We stated no we are not. I then ask our server what time is closing, she said 9:00 but we are closing at 8:00 tonight but please take your time. With the prep work for closing being done all around us, we felt very rushed. We got to go boxes and before we finished boxing our food, the young man came once again to our table asking to take the sauces. We told him to take them, boxed our food, paid the check, left a 20% tip for the server's good work and left. Beware of going later in the evening. You might want to call ahead to check on closing time for the night.

I read a book once about arctic explorers who ran out of food and ate their boots to survive. Dining here was a very similar experiance as my brisket was tough as boot leather. I think the cook thought that the bark was supposed to be as tough as and taste like actual tree bark. On the plus side my server was excellant and the mac and cheese was pretty good. Sadly, I think next time I'll just knaw on a piece of wood and save myself $30.

A must stop for amazing BBQ!! Definitely recommend the brisket fries as an appetizer. The brisket far outweighs the fries and completely worth it!Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free rolls, which it a need for me, but no roll necessary with the brisket tray which was on point, big portion, and no sauce needed as the taste was perfect. Would be a must stop on the next visit!

Service here was top notch. Our waitress made special drinks for my children by adding grenadine to lemonade. They loved it. She also brought my two youngest stickers. My 13 year old daughter complemented her on her outfit/vibe and she took it in stride without missing a beat. My son ordered chicken wings without sauce. Then it took longer for his food to come out than everyone else's. When she brought it out she said that the first batch accidentally had sauce on it so she had them make a new batch. I got the brisket tacos. They were good and also messy. The consensus of the best meat at our table was the ribs. I tried a bit of everything and found the ribs to edge out everything else. Except for when the BBQ sauce was, then it didn't matter what the sauce was on, it was all good. We ordered hush puppies and between the 7 people at the table we didn't finish them. They were smaller than what I'm used to being from Florida, but the flavor was right. My least favorite was the green beans, but my wife loved them. I liked the baked beans. And the coleslaw wasn't my favorite. Overall, 7 people left full and happy. My wife wanted to find some Carolina BBQ and after this she said it was perfect. When pulling into this place use the gas station entrance. I passed the gas station thinking there would be another entrance and I was wrong.
