During a one-week stay in the area with my family, we chose to dine at The Table at Crestwood based on its reputation and pricing, expecting a more elevated overall experience.
The ambiance is pleasant, with a nice setting and attractive views, but ultimately nothing memorable or distinctive enough to justify the positioning or cost. The food was acceptable, yet uninspiring. For the price point, we expected more refinement, creativity, and depth of flavor. The menu itself is very limited, offering few choices, which further amplifies expectations, unfortunately, those expectations were not met.
The service was friendly, and the staff was courteous; however, the experience lacked polish and professionalism. The service felt casual and inconsistent with what one would expect from a restaurant in this price range.
The wine list is minimal, with very few compelling selections, and the bar program is underwhelming. Cocktails and offerings feel basic, again falling short of what the pricing and setting suggest.
Overall, this is an okay dining experience, but not one that aligns with its cost or reputation. With stronger culinary execution, a more thoughtful menu and wine selection, and improved service standards, it could meet expectations, but in its current state, it does not.

Always great experience at crestwood. I used to live in hound ears area so it was always a treat. Getting to go recently was nostalgic. Same quaint homey feel. Beautiful large windows. Smaller more intimate dining rooms as well. Will definitely return for the seasonal menu changes.

If and when you get to Blowing Rock NC stay at the Crestwood Inn. Having said that , the table at Crestwood is awesome. High country dining at its finest. Beautiful sunset views, a simple quality menu linen tablecloth. Price affordably.

Child served raw chicken tenders. Service pathetic. I wouldn’t go there again if it was all for free! Pork chop salty and fatty. Trout nasty couldn’t eat it, short rib pasta, had about a tablespoon of meat in it. Bread for 10.00 was like a small sub roll with a small cup of plain butter. Blue cheese olive martini. No blue cheese olives they say!

Had a fantastic anniversary dinner here!!! The food was SPECTACULAR! 10/10! We got the peach and burrata app, the pork chop, and the Pork belly pasta! It was a hot night so we got cocktails and loved the spicy margarita!
The views are also really nice!!!
Only negative, the service was a bit slow for what seemed like not a busy night.

We went here for a surprise birthday dinner and was greeted by a very lovely host, then escorted to our table to be introduced to our server Victoria, who provided us complimentary champagne. Our experience on an outdoor patio surrounded by the blue ridge mountains were to die for!

An amazing experience with high quality food and drinks to celebrate the occasion. Can’t wait to wait to come back. Well done Victoria and staff!

The most enjoyable atmosphere in any restaurant in Western NC. Super professional and attentive staff, end the entrees are perfected in taste. Highly recommend for dining for great views, meetings, and a step away from the crowd. Tables always have been ready for our reservations with zero wait time ever.

Top level service and atmosphere. Best restaurant in blowing rock atmosphere wise. Very calm and pleasant atmosphere with a fantastic view. None of the loud busy noise like other places around town. Staff were extremely attentive and professional.

A friend who lives in the area told us we had to go to The Gamekeeper and we were bummed when we couldn’t get a reservation. It was my boyfriends birthday, so we picked Crestwood instead because it looked romantic - not expecting much. This turned into one of our favorite dinners ever! There was plenty of parking, the Inn itself is beautiful and so charming!! It is a very old building and had so much character a lot of modern restaurants lack. This would have been impressive enough, but the drinks and meal were INCREDIBLE. I ordered one of the best dirty martinis I’ve ever had. We shared the wontons and fried okra - outstanding. For our entrees we had the pork chop and filet mignon. We are from a big “foodie” city, almost nothing we’ve eaten there touched this place. Not to mention, the price was very affordable for fine dining. A++, 5 stars. We will be back! Planning on staying in a room on the property as well. If you’re planning on going to one of the more popular restaurants in Boone… Don’t. The Table at Crestwood is where you want to be.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It is incredibly beautiful and there is so much unique and elegant charm. We sat in the library area which is away from the main dining room, and it had a spectacular view. We sat by a fireplace and watched a family of deer hang out in the snow after the sun set. The service was great and everyone was very accommodating to our needs. It was an incredible fine dining experience.

Well, tried to eat here and had a reservation this past Saturday. Unfortunately no one ever came to the host stand as we stood there waiting for 15 mins. Not good.

We had a great anniversary dinner there. Had a great window table to watch the sunset and deer on the lower grounds. Service was fantastic from the hostess through the meal. I highly recommend it.
