This place is GREAT!!! I have eaten here several times and love it. The food is well prepared and nicely presented. (I forgot to take pictures but will next time) You get so much food…. I usually get the crab cake grit bowl or the shrimp and grits then have to get a to-go box. They have a very creative menu and something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The free parking was super easy and convenient to use inside the parking garage. I think I counted 60+ spaces just for The Wafflery alone.. This is definitely one of my go to places here in Boone!

If you’re looking for a new and great twist on a classic waffles breakfast this is the place. It is a bit on the pricy side but the size of portions and cocktails make it worth it. It’s also a great space for kids and has an option for all appetites! We did the kids chocolate chip waffle and the crab cake grit bowl with an order of the amazing apple pie biscuit that’s topped with ice cream!! Who says you can’t have ice cream for breakfast. This place was a hit and we’ll definitely be returning

Ordered some classic chicken and waffles through DoorDash, so I didn't expect for it to be the best since it wasn't going to be fresh. But wow I have to say that's some of the best chicken I've had and the waffle was amazing too. Chicken was far from dry and perfectly seasoned, I'll have to go dine in sometime to see how good it is fresh!

We had a great breakfast here and would absolutely come back. A little on the pricey side but it was good food. The waffle and chicken was great. Service was wonderful and friendly. Overall, everything was good, but the bacon did not taste fresh and was a little chewy. The coffee was terrible, acidic and incredibly strong, like motor oil thick strong.. I hope they team up with a local roaster rather than the out-of-town acidic ridiculously strong stuff they got. Overall happy with the meal and would come back.

Their regular and vegan waffles, sausage, and eggs were absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. What really drove my experience home was the manager, Jennifer, and seeing how she supported her staff. She treated everyone with such kindness and went the extra mile to ensure customers have a great experience. Her attention to detail, leadership, and hospitality were what made me want to leave a review and decide that I’ll definitely come back.

First time...saw this place of FB and had to try it....OMG..what they fail to mention is the portions can easily be for 2-3ppl. The chicken and waffles were really good....the waffle was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside....the chicken was perfect! My husbands biscuit bowl was HUGE....the biscuit was one of the best ive had and the gravy did not disappoint...he had the spicy chicken which did have a kick but was very yummy....good balance of spice with the gravy and egg.....we will definitely be back!!

We decided to drive over to Boone from Blowing Rock based on the very favorable Google reviews. The Wafflery did not disappoint. I would say I had the best piece of fried chicken I have ever eaten. Our entire experience was great with amazing, friendly staff giving direction and information when placing our order as well as a co manager Jennifer taking to time talk with us at our table. We live in Statesville and great to learn of the original location in Charlotte. We would drive back to Boone just to have breakfast. It was that good!! As we talked there, parking can be questionable. You park in the Standards parking deck at no charge. Do not worry about scanning the QR code. Simply park and then exit without question when leaving.

The food was very good! The service was decent - everyone was polite and kind. The coffee, I'm told, wasn't all that great. There is also no where to park, so we had to park at the next lot up and walk back down the street. Would we go again? YES!

Passed by on my way home and thought I give it a try. Man was I in for a treat. The owner is super nice. Atmosphere is great. And the most in important thing is the food was delicious 😋. I got the shrimp and grits bowl Togo and is was everything!!!! My sister took one bite and had to run down and get one for herself. The pictures don’t do it justice! Will be going back😁
