Loved the local feel!! In town for a basketball camp and Troy’s was recommended by our hotel. I definitely recommend. Great food, great service and the atmosphere was fun.

Such a cool place! 1950's themed, check board floor, diner booths, lunch counter. Great service. Delicious burgers. Breakfast all day. I've heard the French Toast is excellent and the sausage too.

A classic diner with all the stops.The food here is what you would expect out of your average diner. Tasty, home-cooked quality, and everything is obviously cooked on a flat-top grill. Nothing wrong with that, because they know their way around the kitchen.What truly makes this place special is the atmosphere. There's references and paraphernalia scattered absolutely EVERYWHERE of music and musicians from the 50s to the 80s, primarily focused on none other than Elvis Presley. They often have his music playing inside as well, putting the cherry on top of their distinctive styling. Even the outside of the restaurant looks straight out of the 1950s.It's definitely worth a stop if you're wanting classic diner food in a tastefully unique atmosphere. Don't come here if you hate Elvis. ?
After ordering a milkshake and a sundae to go, we waited at the counter for our order. It was interesting to watch the staff as they worked. There were at least four cooks in the kitchen and they were all working hard - I noted one taking and extra few seconds to center a burger "just so" on a bun so that the presentation was perfect. Likewise, I noticed a waiter carefully wiping soup off the edge of a cup before serving it. The person who was in charge of our order asked me if I wanted whipped cream (I didn't), so he filled the extra space with ice cream. When my friend asked for a cherry on her sundae, he added two. But beyond that was the interactions between the staff. They smile a lot, spoke to one another in a very friendly manner, obviously had little inside jokes with each other, and in general showed a lot of respect for their coworkers as well as their customers. Maybe I just caught them on a good night, but I like to think it's like that all the time there, because the world needs more places of business that operate like this. Many blessings!
